I am talking about 2 or 3 per house, not 6,7,8,9,10 per house to make working in low pay here in the UK worthwhile. Or do you expect the British working classes to live 8 to a house, 3 or 4 in each bedroom? When the living wage comes into effect in 2020 this will worsen, but if you bury your head in the sand in Truro it might not actually be going on. Arguably, a Exit from the EU, with an end to Freedom of Movement employment, has the potential to deliver a crushing blow to the housing market and prices - Which is why I suspect that the Conservatives and probably Newish Labour will pander to Corporate interests and just import more cheap migrant labour from outside the EU. If we assume that the population rises are around 150,000 from EU migrants, they have to be accommodated, and notably these will be rental properties owned by private landlords. That's going to hit a lot of people, who'll probably need to end up dumping investment property onto the market, increasing the supply, and crashing the price and causing a drop in rental prices. It'll very much depend on how 'brave' the next government are in responding to the leave vote, and how the choose to deal with working migration. I have no problem with working migration, but the sheer volume has been unsustainable since the credit crunch.

I can't see it causing a massive drop in prices in the near future.

However for people who have purchased property as an investment, its going to be a total c**t, as it could quite conceivably result in significant losses on their investment, negative equity and so on. Of course that's the risk of any investment. I think the UK needs to act on this before it becomes even more of a problem for the future, to control rental prices, the cost of housing and discouraging the idea of owning property as an investment (the priority of housing should be for people to live in). I'd happily live with the idea that no one can own more than two properties in the UK, without those properties being capital assets for at least a private limited company and subject to government laws on rent controls. Any such properties must then also be rented out. I also think that ownership of accommodation property in the UK should be restricted to British Citizens only. The idea of the 'property market' undermines a basic need (and I'd say right) to accommodation / shelter. Of course the consequence to the UK of a housing market crash could be very harsh.

And so Pandora's Box has been opened... This is why the Anti-nazi League came into being. To shut up and take on cvnts like those. 40% cited immigration as their primary reason for voting 'out' our survey said last week. Well, in The Metro anyway.

"Well to be honest, I'm not really sure" said Pooh, uncharacteristically thoughtfully. "It's a complex issue and not really one that can be reduced to seven lines of text for the purposes of a rather twee meme. "On the one hand, a belief in unity, that we're stronger together, and that when we work as a team we both benefit, was one of the main reasons why I voted as I did. "On the other hand, whilst I appreciate that, just as I did, you chose your vote based on what you thought was for the best, you have precipitated a huge financial collapse, destabilised my country, and threatened the future of my children, and it's hard for me to forget that, especially within a matter of hours. "It's entirely possible that we're going to end up with a very much depleted Sixty Acre Wood, and while you might have no issue with the other animals who live here, you sided with those who did. As of yesterday, Kanga's had to go into hiding, Rabbit's marching to Christopher Robin's house demanding her immediate repatriation, and Tigger's had donkey s*** shoved through his letterbox. While you might not have wanted that, you legitimised it, and decided that other animals' lives and security were collateral damage. "It's true that you're still the small, massively overmarketed stuffed animal that you were before, but realistically I've seen another side of you that I hadn't before and it's going to take me some time to process that. "And whenever I tried to discuss this with you beforehand, you either accused me of scaremongering or insisted on ignoring me and showing me pictures of cats instead. "So rather than pressing me for assurances I'm in no position to make right now, I'd appreciate it if you could give me some space and allow me to get off my face on honey and grieve the future that I thought I had, which has been destroyed in the favour of the one that you've dragged me into. "And if you don't, I'll post you to Cameron. All right?"

The report was from BBC. The first picture is of N F sympathisers and not from the 70's. Would you prefer we don't talk about any current negative fall-out from last Thursday? Too much? If that is the case it is not me that needs a bit of maturing is it Stu?

The Anti Nazi league are no better than the Nazis. Also please stop trying to link Leavers to far right wing groups. Over half of those who voted were leavers. The fact that a few dozen far right wing yobbos are feeling all empowered doesn't amount to bugger all.

You are seeking out the most extreme case and the only reason it's in the most read list on the BBC is because people like you take great pleasure in linking to it. You are simply seeking to be more divisive. The referendum is over, move on and grow up. I told you pre-vote that you were espousing s*** as bad as both campaigns, and you still are.

It appears that some of those with a certain negative attitude towards those of other races and some nations now feel more emboldened to abuse them. No surprise really but still not pleasant to read what has been going on and certainly not a time to shrug shoulders.
