You had a good sleep teddy and are feeling just dandy Possibly. Or a skinful Timothy Taylor’s Landlord causes hallucinations. Surely that would’ve been discovered before.

Not entirely Teddy. With a decent striker for the whole of last season we could easily have. Why the hell we don't just say Wilf is under contract and not going anywhere is beyond me. Parish should dip into his deep pockets filled with the AWB, Prem and TV millions and gets some decent players in eg.Morelos, St.Max, James etc. who all look a decent punt and not ones no one else wants or the cheap leftovers. We could have a decent shout at Europa place and Wilf would get his wish, No fcuking ambition Palace! Alternatively, I would be happy with 50m plus Iwobi and Nketiah from the Arse or no deal end of (plus a RB) Just my opinion of course ...i'll get me coat!
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I really can’t say I enjoy these start of the season transfer windows, while every other club are building for the new season, we seem to be looking in the lower basement areas for end of line sales. It would be typical Palace to sell Wilf with 12 hours left ( and I’m being generous with the hours ) of the transfer window and then rush around like contestants on supermarket sweep finding a replacement. We just don’t seem to learn, everything seems to be last minute.com.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Sure SP and co have a long term plan but I am struggling to see what it is. We seem to buy second rate players and sell our main assets with no forward-thinking whatsoever. Sorry to be negative but I am finding it difficult to find a positive.

No lighthouses of joy or frissons of excitement in relation to our supporters who can hear the levers of the relegation trapdoor being oiled in preparation for our plummeting through it.The mood music is an amalgam of disappointment, frustration, anger etc etc.

Sorry to be negative but I am finding it difficult to find a positive. I Agree, we all know our issues with our forward, striker line is Sunday league rate. To be honest a jar of Pot Noddles has more sting in its tail. When you look over the seasons Zaha and Milo have been the main ingredient of this team, Take them away and basically no disrespect to the other players at Palace. it’s hard to see any real strength. I really can understand Zaha desire to move on, better himself I wish him well if he goes but it’s the same story every season, the Palace fans book ourselves down as relegation favourites. They appear anxious to get going and as it is their actions rather than our fans speculation that will keep us up there ought to be some reason for optimism. COYP

Arsenal to sign Ivorian winger for £70m....and it’s not Wilf. Strange isn't it that there is no talk of a lack of money to complete this transfer even though it is for the same money we would be looking for for Zaha! So if they are willing to pay £75m for Pepe, £25m/£30m for Tierney and also have bought two other players then they have done remarkably well out of a total budget of £40m. I want their accountant.

At least it shows Zaha exactly what Arsenal actually think of him - that is if the story is actually true
