So you are stating the view of TV personalities as the official policy of Putin?

Does Piers Morgan represent UK military strategy?

I've already highlighted that legally there are restrictions on how the 'special military operation' is talked about.. and above that any basic understanding of Russia and Russian media makes it clear that it's in lock step with Putin and that there are consequences when its not. There's a reason lots of balanced Russian media companies aren't based in Russia. Most of people on these shows are connected with Putin or known to be in compklete alignment to him. The Piers Morgan example is either dense beyond belief or disingenuous.

This also happens in the west (and in Ukraine) and this thread is about the rights and wrongs of the Ukraine war. This is just diverting away from the subject in hand.

Nobody at any point has said that the West doesn't commit war crimes (of which many of our moves into the middle east could likely fall under) or politically act in its own interests or aginst others. This is about your absurd level ongoing blanket rejection and denial of any negative conduct relating to Russia, or inability to do anything other than to say 'we're not perfect too'.

This is a laughable rebuttal because essentially after denying what I've said about Putin's conduct towards political opponents, you're now indirectly admitting that what I said is true ('but also happens here').. Rather than actually directly admit that though (intentionally so) you just attempt some sort of weaselly exit from the point by saying it's 'diverting away from the subject at hand'. What disingenuous conduct (as is the idea that Russian media has nothing to do with Putin). And in any case, what happens in Russian politics and leadership is clearly pertinent anyway and there are countless more off topic posts than this. You are making statements that you clearly don't even yourself believe as way of wasting peoples time.

Yeah you keep just stating things as fact. A bit like a manic Wisbech.

So you're denying that there are legal definitions of how this war can be talked about in Russia? Or is that something else that you 'don't know about' because you 'don't speak Russian'? I'm sure the tens of thousands of arrested protesters in Russia will be excited to know that they can now say anything they please and hold any opinion they wish. The iron grip on the public is at an absurd level [Link] and you're willfully opting out of reality, or again incredibly disengenuous if you honestly believe your stated views of Russian media.

You're also denying that several formerly prominent Russian news outlets now operate from abroad due to pressure on them from government or legal difficulties?

You're denying that the Kremlin has very significant input into what appears in Russian media? Why precisely do you think Russia pump it into occupied areas?

Perhaps these are things you need to look into and learn about yourself in an honest fashion, rather than saying 'Yeah you keep just stating things as fact' like someone with nothing meaningful to say. Go post some more prisoner of war videos, you unpaid Kremlin mouthpiece. That's your truth.

To paraphrase Orwell, W12's posts are designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.

The problem is, as yesterday's interaction shows, he often doesn't even believe what hes saying. When he inadvertently admits that on occasion it's just 'let's move along now'. As such he's the very defiition of what propoganda is. Let's hope when the British prisoners of war is put to death it's not recorded, as that'll probably be popping up on here as lesson to others. It's not like it'd be that much worse than what's already been posted. Using a mans fear of being murdered to create and spread a propoganda piece.

If this guy had carried on his career, I question whether we'd even be at war now [Link]

Perhaps Russian literacy rates were low in the sixties.

"Tensions between Russia and NATO member Poland have been cranking up to boiling point in recent days amid Russian claims that it has killed 'up to 80 Polish mercenaries' in missile strikes.

The reported losses come on the same day that Russia confirmed it has removed a Polish flag from a memorial commemorating the murder of thousands of Poles by the Soviet Union in 1940."

Have to agree with most of what Russell Brand says on the war here.
