I’d let Wilf go at this point in the window for Tosun, Niasse and McCathy plus £40m cash to buy that French maxim geezer Those three aren't worth Wilf's left foot. If we do Everton the grand favour of removing mediocre players from their wage bill in exchange for one of the most exciting attacking talents in the league, we'd be mugs.

I’m not normally like this Willo and have to admit to having somewhat chastised you in the past for similar misgivings, but this year just has a bad feeling about it. I am sure you as I, are proved to be wrong. Eaglecoops I have become used to being chastised on HOL ! No hard feelings at all.

Exactly, and we won't have 40m to spend either as Man U would probably take half of it, if the package is deemed as 80m we'd still have to give them their cut. Not interested in any of Everton or Arsenal's long forgotten bad buys, all or nothing. As others suggested, the Chelsea rumour is the only one that appears worthwhile but doubt it'll happen

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I genuinely think Wilf will win at least one penalty every 2 games next season. Plus, say, 8 assists and 8 goals, he's going to have terrifying stats. £80m, our touted 'price' is beyond a steal for that. I hope we give him a bump to keep his good will. AND if we possibly can, insure him against serious injury.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle What would we owe Man United if we received no money for Zaha but instead a number of players, or £40M plus £40M worth of players?

What would we owe Man United if we received no money for Zaha but instead a number of players, or £40M plus £40M worth of players? As far as im aware its 15% of any cash sale. So in theory if we took players in exchange up to the value of Zaha Man u would get nothing. If ture almost worth doing. Back to Everton one player not mention id have in px who does not play reg for them is Theo Walcott. Hes always wanted a cetral role and we could offer him that plus reguler football. If any mileage in this rumour Chelsea ain't gonna give us Bats for 20m & 60m cash with a free seasons loan for Wilf, they'll be after better than that It’s not allowed under an embargo anyway.

Adrian Durham on TS currently tipping Palace for relegation along with Sheffield Utd. We are going to be worse than ‘Crudersfield’ apparently. Predicting the season before anyone knows the full squads is typical of him and that show. The station does have better shows, but Durham slates things so much he has to be careful he doesn’t contradict himself. I have tuned into it a few times and heard people make him sound stupid after he’s contradicted himself day’s later. But currently his prediction isn’t a bad one, if the transfer window was closed.

Wasn’t too long ago that we were in for both, Niasse even had the shirt on until his agent ballsed it up. Both have scored against us and looked good, i think they’d improve our squad plus we’d limit the money going to moan U. At the moment i reckon we’re for the drop...unless parish and freedman sort it out which I doubt will happen.
