So? Are you adding casual misogyny to your repertoire now?

Another bad day for Corbyn/Labour....

[Link]

Sleaford by-election result.

4th behind Tories, UKIP and LibDems.

Labour were 2nd in May 2015 GE.

Doh!

Still.... I'm sure that can be laughed off as a blip and things are still on track for a Labour landslide in 2020.

Until the last couple of by elections I actually think Corbyn and his team could point to very few really poor performances in actual voting (opinion polls are just opinion polls). But losing their deposit in Richmond and dropping to 4th here - even if they weren't expecting to come close to winning in either - looks very bad.

I still don't think it will be enough to oust him. That's going to need a general election defeat. But that defeat will be starting to become more of a reality for his team and Momentum, who I suspect genuinely thought if he put up a socialist agenda the population would listen and respond positively.

I don't think many people could argue with your assessment here.

Yup.... with a decent turn out things might have been even worse for Labour!

Labours inept performance this week spells failure to the voters.

Its difficult to know what the effect of the vote is it appears labour is getting Mrs.Mays plan which could be any old thing as its not binding on the govt. too. For this what are labour doing not interfering with her timetable for triggering Article 50 but don't we know that already?

Much not binding in the Marsh.

It is situation easily predicted.

The views of a few hundred, privileged trots are not juxtaposed with the electorate.

They will continue to get pummelled in the polls until a 'son of Blair' emerges. That could be Sadiq Khan and that could be sooner than thought if a wipeout is predicted at the next GE.

Thy have lost Scotland and are losing Wales & the North.

Jamie Reed, MP in a marginal constituency, has resigned his post and there will be a by-election in January. He's got a majority of about 2,000 and UKIP got 15% at the GE, will be a very hard fought race and big test for Corbyn. He'll fail it obvs.
