Can't see Biden stepping down unless there's some connection to what's gone on and he's under threat of reveal....Maybe a 'if we go down you go down' and thus he's getting out of dodge.

As for Tenacious D.....what that guy said on the stage was stupid and crass. However, personally I don't like to see cancel culture period, whatever direction it comes from.

People say stupid sh1t and he apologised and seems genuine so I'd rather it was left at that. I don't like a society where people can't say anything controversial....even though obviously saying that is inappropriate.

Having said all that I recognise that these are the state of the times and I've always thought for about ten years that the clash of ideologies is unavoidable at this point.

However, you would think that famous celebrities, who should be there to entertain and put smiles on people's faces, would try to avoid alienating half their audience but it just seems where we are now.

That was pretty much the point I was making in the post that seems to have been why you, and others think I was blaming Trump.

Yes, seems to be the answer, so the next questions must be why and what must be done about it.

That’s what I was, and am continuing to, concentrate on.

Let’s hope all the politicians involved do the same. I am hoping, but not hopeful.
