I know its in the mail, but if his demands are anywhere near that figure, then he's living in cloud cuckoo land. Untried at premier league level and he wants that sort of money ? Jesus wept

60k a week is the same wage as Schlupp, less than Sakho and half the wage of Benteke. I just can't see the issue with 60k a week.

Standard wage for a premier league player. I would imagine Watkins and Bowen are on similar amounts. So I don’t think it’s unrealistic at all. West Ham will pay it.

Bought in 2018 for £2.7m and after one season in the Championship now £16m? That's a good rate of return. Crazy.

Far too exciting for us. Look at how Villa thrashed Liverpool. How Leeds are playing. Fast attacking football. Not for the 2 dimensional Palace. We keep men back then rely on fast counter. Not so easy at home. These new young managers are really stirring up the boring football method. Great to watch. Not for us. Boring staid safe. That’s the way. Hope to stay lower mid. I’m sure we will.

I’m sure we will. Exactly, and every club knowns our away play, counter acting that 2 dimensional play all they have to do is push the defenders up to half way line midfielder pushing our midfield back blocking off any through balls, because they know that Palace will sit back, Season after season still the same dimension but just a different formation this season . We need to change our ways, our midfield is the second biggest problem the twos Mac’s Arthur & Carthy are not that creative. We have Milo who in my opinion is a flat square midfielder who has his area of the pitch that he commands anything out of that area he is lackluster, apart from free-kicks Milo is not a creative nor a force in midfield. Hodgson has done a brilliant job keeping Palace in this league all this time, I hate to say it, I just hope we can survive with this 2 dimensional play again.
