Someone just posted this on BBC Sport in the comments under the LCFC v CPFC report:

"I salute Sir Podgson. A Man Ager fully committed in the trouser department. Another string to his bow tie. Fully compacted and above bawdy; a rare thing in these days of inflated baboons." [sic]

Martin Atkinson makes two marginal calls in our favour - disallowing their goal and then the red card. And then he doesn't give a 100% penalty for the tackle from behind on Tekkers.
Still, it all ended happily in the end.

The right place at the right time

If Lineker has anything to say about it, we're last.

I suspect he may not be presenting tonight, what with the Sports (so-called) Personality of the Year Award show tomorrow, but as you say, maybe his influence will remain.

I love what this Foxes fan had to say before kick-off. Absolutely spot-on!

Thanks for the link - that match thread is a right laugh. It shows all clubs have their numpty fans - first time I've seen a set of fans not like Roy though.

Nothing marginal , a push by the goal scorer on Tomkins for the disallowed goal.

Blatant dive for the sending off

Probably our best away performance in the premier league since we got promoted. I can't remember us dominating an away game like that in a very long time. Roy is working his magic.

West Brom last season was pretty good but I completely agree.

Cannot praise the team enough.
My only complaint even though he set up the first goal is the ineffectiveness of Townsend but msybe we need him to give Wilf more room to play?
Great afternoon!

Andros was full of running again today and he put in some amazing crosses. I believe that makes him effective IMHO. Needs a goal for sure!

Two in-form sides maybe, but Leicester’s last 6 results are LDWWWW (13 points and the loss was to Man City), goals for 11, against 6. Our last 6 results are DWDDDW (10 points and the wins were scratchy last minute efforts), goals for 8, against 6. I think I know which is the more in-form team.

I thought Townsend played ok - maybe not with the menace of Wilf but more than effective.

Jugs ears will be right royally flapping tonight. Also Lawro's face will be more sour after predicting a 2-0 win for Leicester and righting us off with a disdain comment on Football Focus. However these might pale into insignificance come the end of the season when Savage and Chris Sutton (surely the BBC could of got a Max Headroom type mannequin to sprout deliberate controversial comments than pay his salary) have to eat humble pie as nailing us as automatic relegation after 7 games. Shearer won't say anything as his bald head will be sweating over the Toon. Wrighty will big us up though. COYP !!
