I think the team are clearly a bit stuck, because they have no one up top who will hold the ball up, and so they have to play it about. That's alright if we were, say, 10th, because we do actually have two ball playing CBs, but we're bottom, so everyone's on edge and mistakes are so costly.

With Sakho, we're talking about a real top quality defender. His pass completion rate, and the type of pass he makes, is outstanding, but he's a type of defender we aren't really used to. Yes, it's risky, and he makes the odd mistake, but what he brings to the side is amazing, his positioning, awareness, leadership, are incredible, and if the cost of that is that he likes to show off his footballing skills in risky areas, I think fair enough.

We'll get a win soon if we keep playing as we are, particularly with a big man up top. We're gonna be ok.

Just imagine if Parish had not refused to pay an agent's small commission last window, Niasse, the villain of the piece yesterday, would have been scoring goals for us and in all probability, we would not be rock bottom of this league andi such dire straits.

Well done,that man!!

Totally irrelevant about agents fee, were you there or party to the negotiation's!
Giroud was at Goodison Park then changed his mind, so Everton pulled out of selling Niasse.
We all know you dislike Parish, but at least get your facts right, not twist hem to suit your agenda.

Well remember that you are looking at a Niasse who:

- has not been exposed to the toxicity of de Boer
- has not had to change systems three times since August
- plays for a team that refs support and therefore gets away with the sort of s*** he dished out yesterday - a Palace player could not
- needed to show Koeman that he deserved his own locker and
- gets some service.

Personally I wouldn't want a player who dived and cheated like that, firstly because we are better sportsmen that that and secondly because if you do it in a Palace shirt you get sent off. I wondered about Benteke coming to us after his notorious dive but he hasn't done that since he came. I would not want Snodgrass here for the same reasons.

It was Speroni's lunacy. As said before it was not an error in was unprofessional.

Think about the game situation , 2-1 up in first half injury time, greasy soaking wet conditions, the time he had to consider his options.
The ball came to him , all he had to do was kick it away from goal , no Speroni decides to prove he wan't wrong all those years ago by taking on a risky dummy, he got away with that , now all he has to do is kick the ball as far as possible away from goal and we go in 2-1 up , no he decides to pass the ball which on on pitch that wet is hard to get the weight right , to a man with three opposition players around him.

He cost us two points today for sure this isn't like the silly speculation surrounding most of Hennessey's alleged mistakes about what he could or should have stopped. If we go on that basis Speroni could be held accountable for another three points dropped .
The save later , if we are talking about the one just after half time while Everton were enjoying their gifted revival would have been judged as bread and butter if Hennessey had made it as it was at a nice height and almost straight at him.

Hennessey at least is capable of keeping clean sheets at this level and should be given a chance to play in the team now it is playing better, and not playing the likes of Man City and Man U.

Don’t talk cojones George mate. Have a look at our points tally the last 13 games Wayne has played. His career with us is over. You guys need to get your heads around it and move on. We’re
Picking up points again thankfully. Onwards and updwards.

I don't see how Hennessey is 100% responsible for the results of those games. Surely some others must take their share of culpability? Frank de Boer springs to mind.

He’s not but don’t for a second think that he didn’t play a major part. We’re picking up points and in our situation that is better than we were doing before we changed goalie. It would now
Be complete insanity to change back to something that was reaping up zero points. Whether Henessey had anything to do with it or not. It’s not worth the risk is it.

Just like to state again, we need a new keeper in Jan. But that being said after watching motd, I wouldn't really be to harsh on JS with the pass. Dann should have done better, if he wasn't happy with the pass he should just put his boot through it and give JS a piece of his mind. He didn't he tried to play the ball and got found out.

Sorry but I know we love Dann but really he should have done better.

I do wonder how Tomkins would do along side Sakho... not saying Dann needs to be dropped but the errors need to stop.

As for the pen, you can see why the ref gave it but at the same time that could have happened a thousand times to us and we'd not have been given one.

But a point is a point. Still need four wins from next 7 games.

Also hope the coaching staff can help Benteke get his form back.

The 6 teams above us, all look shocking and I suspect will catch them soon. I'd rather be where we are showing the ability we are than have a few more points like them yet look like their destined to drop down.

I actually don't think we need a big man up top, at least not another one. What we're crying out for is a poacher. A finisher who can put these chances and half chances away.

Creating so much and literally just need a 'fox in the box'.

Not funny really but I did laugh when he lost the ball on one of his rather exuberant trips.Almost missed the rugby tackle to recover the situation.Did get yellow for his trouble, would have got a cheer at Twickers.Apart from that had a great game.

I would have preferred Tomkins to Dann in the first place, but Dann has been OK lately apart from that incident, the last couple of games he has been more than decent. Dunno what Tomkins looks like in training ATM.
