bigger budget, better team, 3x personal wages we're not tinpot 15th in the Championship Palace right now, we can poach like likes of Dyche The "grass is greener here" argument doesn't hold water for me. Eddie Howe thought the grass was greener at, ironically, Burnley. It wasn't and he left for "personal reasons.". For him, Bournemouth was and still is the place where he fits best. Same with Dyche and Burnley. I think he would be a fish out of water at Palace and wouldn't last to the January window. Managing/coaching any sports club, never mind a football club, is not easy and never has been. There are tangible and intangible skills that have to be evaluated. I thought Pardew had both traits and was the right manager for Palace but he proved me wrong. Given the revolving door that football league management is, I'm not surprised at Palace's managerial turnover under SP. With the exception of Steve Coppell, some Palace managers have lasted roughly 2-3 seasons at the most. Ron Noades burned through quite a few before hiring Coppell and a few more before re-hiring him in the 1990s. Unfortunately, it seems to be the nature of the beast.

If we get the tinkerman, then being sponsored by Morley's makes sense - chicken and pizza after a win!!! In all seriousness, I have no idea who I would like at Palace - it disrupts things, but earlier the better.

Looks like we are going after Silva but I think we should see if we can go after Lucien Favre, supposedly going to Dortmund but maybe we could hijack it. Has a record of getting clubs out of trouble and then getting them overachieving in the top 8-4 positions in their nations top leagues. Surely exactly what we are aspiring to do, and to quote his wiki: `Favre is also well known for his ability to develop talented young players and introduce them into the first team.` `Favre's teams play a dynamic, quick and attacking-minded football where ball possession and change of tempo alternate. This attractive style of play has brought results in every club he has managed. Furthermore, Favre is very skillful tactically, leaving his opponents struggling to penetrate his well-organized sides.`

But theses w***ers on top of the page...NOPE. Too right, no nonsense, say it as it is, that's what I'd like to see in our new manager.
