Getting back to the original thread does anyone else think there might be a problem with this deal going through? It seems to be taking a long time just for Wickham to agree terms. I know these things take time, Cabaye a prime example but it is dragging on a bit.

I know these things take time, Cabaye a prime example but it is dragging on a bit. The plot may be thickening in that Fernando Llorente might be on the horizon, and Gayle going on loan to Fulham. Negitiations do take time etc....basically, like you, no idea what's going on!

Hopefully, seeing as West Ham are going in for Pato and Sunderland for Javier Hernandez (2 far better signings than Wickham IMO), but I doubt it. Imagine comf this week

From what I read I believe it is all done just don't have anyone working on a Sunday to give the conformation. It should be done on the website tomorrow by all accounts and hopefully will get a run out at Dagenham...

Maybe that's because we actually negotiate and don't let agents and footballers hold a gun to the club. It also seems like longer because of the internet and how fans can get involved from once a rumour starts to the deal being completed. In the old days, you didn't hear anything until the club had officially signed the player and it was on ceefax!

I do remember bamboozle and if you got a question wrong quickly pressing the other colours to try and get the right one before the page loaded.
Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature. The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace. |
