I've just caught up with this. What terrible news. In common with many here, I would always look out for the staffie 'The Whole Match' thread and am truly grateful to him for all he did for his fellow fans. My thoughts are with his family. RIP mate.

So so sad, I never "knew" him, but being on here and all the links he did for people really made me feel that I did.

He always had the most helpful signature on his post's, such a shame.

Very sad news. I never met him but he seemed a gentleman and a credit to palace fan's and men everywhere.
You'll be sorely missed, staffie.

If any thread deserves to go Gold, I think this is it.

staffie's favourite album was Supertramp's Crime of the Century. In honour of all he did for HOL, including sharing MP3s, rare bootlegs, and of course the links to match day streams I shall be playing it non stop for the next week.

RIP staffie.

This is such sad news. I'm fairly new here but as others have said it is strange how you can feel such a close bond to someone you've never met.
The world has lost a gentleman.
We need to do something as a show of respect to honour the passing of someone who was a friend to us all?

So sad to hear this news of our wonderful staffie.
Completely relied on his links for games, as I don't get to as many as I would like living in Devon.
The helpful Holer ever.
RIP in Selhurst Heaven.
