Fulham win at Newcastle. If only we can do the same next week. We won't do it playing like that though. We need Chamakh back.

Nope, they were at home to Newcastle. We can get a 0-0 up there, no worries

Yes my mistake.

0-0 may be - don't need to score for that!

Murray should not be starting away games, Jerome does more for me when we ain't got the ball and that's most of the game.

As much as we will likely get shot down for the opinion, for what it's worth, I agree with you. Jerome holds up play and frightens defences... Obviously, he cannot score goals... But, with the service to the front players, neither can Murray. So, play Jerome.

Most certainly not European.

No Gayle, no Bannan, only goal scores we have, when Chamakh is out. Not played...

He needs to give Gayle a chance and show what he can do a. Plus his speed would be good.

Surprised that he didn't get a game today, particularly after running them ragged at Selhurst earlier in the season.

TP need to take a gamble and I feel sorry for Gayle as the more game time he has in the PL the better he will get.

Grateful for the point but we were so lucky Sunderland didn't take any of their many chances to win the game. Would have liked to see TP show a bit more ambition to win the game and throw on Gayle for the final 10/15.

On the counter attack Gayle would be brilliant to have.

I don't understand how teams like Fulham and West Brom get results when we couldn't?

Like it or not, Fulham and West Brom have far better players than us, especially in midfield. They have just massively under-performed this season. Had Pulis been in charge from the beginning of the season we would most probably be near enough safe now and the nerves would not be kicking in., I see that playing a massive factor in the run in. I actually think that we will play better against the likes of City, Chelsea & Liverpool as the boys will go out not expecting anything. Against the bottom teams though they are getting shaky and lack the quality needed to stamp on the game. Perhaps a change of personnel will make a difference but it will alter the defensive structure of the team which it is built on.

I'm all for Bannan & Guediora coming in and giving it a go but do they have enough experience to do it? That's the problem.

I expect one or two surprises by the end of the season but what is most important is any chance we get infront of goal, we take and that just is not happening.

All in all, a bit negative. But what I must say, in some of the games where we have been picking up points our defence has been great. Especially considering the opposition usually has about 70% of the play.

I would definitely have Guedioura starting the next game over KG. Plus surely Bannan deserves another chance and should replace either Ince on Puncheon.....at least then we'd have a set piece taker.

I agree what you're saying, but when you have players doing poorly then you need to make a change. Also if we kept KP we could have had that little bit more experience. We never gave him a good chance.

Guediuera should start every match he's got real quality about him. KG was absolutely hopeless as usual, he had such a real chance on goal towards end of match which he completely messed up - please can someone tell me why does Pulis keeps playing him?

It is true but I guess Pulis see's it differently in training. Regarding KP, I honestly don't know why we offered him a contract. Yes he scored us goals in the Championship but we are living proof that there is a big gulf in class between the two leagues and he was well past premiership standard. It an amazing feat that he is still playing as you tend to be able to play longer at the back than upfront where athleticism is as important as knowledge so full credit to him there but it was a sentimental contract offer and one we could have done without.

Not a great match but a gritty performance and decent point.
