If this does go tits up again with Favre - I can see Palace turning to Derry. What other decent Manager is going to take the job now by Monday knowing Palace threw the kitchen sink at Favre like this.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Their information would also come before it was reported in the press and would also turn out to be accurate (and not a complete load of BLX - time and time again). Discretion and credibility being two important qualities. However the truly desperate ones (who have absolutely zero morals or credibility) are the non ITK’s who, after the event, feel the need to make out to everyone that they were in-fact ‘in the loop’ all along but were keeping quiet because they are such decent people A gentleman said exactly the same thing to me last night in a local hostelry

I heard that Daniel Levy was so impressed with our transfer budget, he has decided to implement the same one.

Time will tell if after the event there are those who will declare that they had a hotline to Steve Parish and received a running commentary of the latest developments but did not wish to betray confidences. Edited by Willo (29 Jun 2021 11.25am)

Said the Eze deal was off just before he was unveiled by palace for example. So hoping this is the case again. Although there does appear to be rumours meeting hasnt been productive Do you have a link to this? Because people keep saying this and yet, actually, he released an article days before the deal was announced saying it was 100% on. He also was the first to announce we were going for Nuno, first to announce we were in for Favre and first to announce it was off with Favre the first time. It would also seem utterly pointless to confirm the meeting last night was taking place only to then say a few hours later he wasn't going to be the manager if it wasn't true.

Seems to be a lot of people lumping money on Patrick Vieira seemingly out of nowhere. But I suspect if we haven't sorted this out very soon that Sean Derry will at least be taking first team training for the moment.

Patrik Vierra is as low as 5/2 fav now, biggest price 4s, Hills go 3s and 5/2 fav Favre - and Hills have been the best predictors so far. As historian Theodore K Rabb once argued ... 'a crisis is the penultimate stage in the resolution of a problem'. Hopefully by Friday week we'll get someone in who isn't cr*p.

One such gent, an esteemed season ticket holder from Brighton, had already approached me earlier in the day and interrupted my ‘eavesdropping’ mission along the local beach front, simply so he could share his views with me.

Edited by Willo (29 Jun 2021 11.25am) It’s simply not happening Willo and even if it was why would people be so shallow as to feel the need to self promote in such a way and look like a total attention seeking nob?
