This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Who cares where he goes? Why would it matter to a Palace fan whether he goes to Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Real Madrid or Grimsby? Once he's left the club he's someone else's player and I, for one, will have little interest in his career after that. I support Palace, not Wilfred Zaha. It's about getting the best deal for the club. Everton's money is the same as anyone else's money. I personally think 60 million plus Tosun and McArthur would be a good outcome for us. Clubs like Chelsea, City or Madrid would put the money in straight away. With clubs like Everton and Arsenal they drag it on forever until we eventually buckle and sell him for a cut price or dodgy deal....that's why we care where he goes...

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Sounds like you're throwing your toys out the pram. Why would you not look forward to a new season? Even if it is a relegation scrap, we're a club that's used to fighting against the odds. Enjoy it! Originally posted by Eaglecoops
I used to look forward to the new season. Sky Sports and all their transfer centre cr&p, the online media circus and player power have now changed the face of football and not for the better I might add. I am not looking forward to the Everton match.

Isn’t The Everton bid £60 mil minus their value of Tosun and whoever else, so not £60 mil plus players anyway?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Precisely my point. It's about getting the right financial deal for the club, not the right club for Wilfred Zaha. Whoever comes up with the best terms, the highest fee including the highest proportion up front etc is the right deal for us. Originally posted by steven_t92

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle No, according to the reports I've read, it's 60 million PLUS Tosun and possible McArthur. That's not a bad offer, certainly far superior to what Arsenal have put on the table. Originally posted by Rudi Hedman

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This was the Telegraph: Exclusive: Everton want Wilfried Zaha and are willing to pay £60m plus Cenk Tosun but fear missing out to Chelsea If it's including, then you're right, it's a s*** offer. No, according to the reports I've read, it's 60 million PLUS Tosun and possible McArthur. That's not a bad offer, certainly far superior to what Arsenal have put on the table.

These clubs trying to tempt us with their fringe players who they are more than happy to get rid of.I think McCarthy hardly played in the last 2 seasons and Tosun spent most of his time last season on the subs bench.I would tell Everton to jump into the high pitched briny.

They might just be a better fit with us then with Everton. And we desperately need attacking and midfield options. If we accepted Everton's reported offer and agreed to the transfer of the players mentioned, after paying Man Utd we would receive some £45 Million, plus Tosun and McArthy.I am not too sure many supporters would be that enamoured with the deal.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Unless inclusive of a player or players that are actually of our choice all these offers are no more than an insult, they take our top guy whilst donating their deadwood to soften the financial blow. If Wilf's off it has to be for the full amount & we'll find our own players, ones that we deem useful. Both Jenkinson & Tosun have knocked us back in the past
