If there is any truth in this then fair play to Parish for persevering.

Fish and chips for breakfast is dedication to the cause Originally posted by dazza
Yes this is very true hoping to hear a positive update in the morning.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

So to recap the Twitter sphere story so far, and not ITK at all..... After Favre decided not to join as he wanted to put himself on recharge or spend time with his family etc etc, So the Twitter rumour is Favre, did not turn palace down as he wanted more time with his family, but that he was not happy with the Transfer budget being offered by the CPFC 3. So the CPFC 3 have flown to South of France to meet with Favre and persuade him to come. Interesting aside on Twitter, that 'Gladbach fans on Favre say that: "He has a very difficult personality. He hates giving interviews and is a unique person. If he thinks his job is done, he'll leave the club on his own terms." Makes it seem like a possibility he intentionally went public as leverage for a bigger budget." Who knows what is going on in an InterMarche or Auchan Car Park in the South of France.

I would entertain the notion that those ITK have signed the 'Official Secrets Act' (!) and don't wish to betray any confidences, accordingly do not disclose any information to the great and good. Edited by Willo (28 Jun 2021 11.34pm) Any self respecting ITK might share something with a couple of close (and trusted) friends or relatives and that’s as far as it goes. Certainly not plaster it all over an internet chat forum. Their information would also come before it was reported in the press and would also turn out to be accurate (and not a complete load of BLX - time and time again). Discretion and credibility being two important qualities. However the truly desperate ones (who have absolutely zero morals or credibility) are the non ITK’s who, after the event, feel the need to make out to everyone that they were in-fact ‘in the loop’ all along but were keeping quiet because they are such decent people

Both Dan on his HLTCO podcast and Alan Nixon from the S@n seem to have indicated talks haven’t progressed far. This must all centre on budget and clearly the Americans haven’t put enough on the table. All the while this goes it in potentially wastes valuable time. Let’s hope some good news come soon

Let’s hope some good news come soon HLTCO was referring to Alan Nixons tweets that said the talks didnt go well - Nixon is notoriously unreliable with palace related news. Said the Eze deal was off just before he was unveiled by palace for example. So hoping this is the case again. Although there does appear to be rumours meeting hasnt been productive
