I would speculate on the other factors that that you don't want to speculate on and would suggest our transfer policy this window will be or rather is based on whether Zaha leaves or not . I am hopefully assuming that we have players ready to sign if Wilf stays and that we have made discreet inquiries to upgrade those if Wilf goes . If anything is going to happen though its got to happen soon His current ability aside, remember when Tosun was left too late meaning they couldn’t find their replacement. Unless all our targets are throwaways, and shouldn’t be with a new RB, this a factor, but don’t hold your breath anything will have learned from that experience.

If anything is going to happen though its got to happen soon I have always maintained, and I believe posted on HOL, that there should have been a deadline laid down in terms of Zaha's departure as we cannot have continued uncertainty about our key player and the fact that recruitment could well be influenced by whether he goes or stays. If I was Mr Parish I would probably say to Zaha words to the effect "You are STAYING, as the end of the window is fast approaching and NO club has met our valuation. We will reassess in January". To clubs I would say "Don't bother with your continued derisory offers, he is NOT for sale". You could Try again in January but only if you make sensible and realistic offers".

AWB - sold Interesting times ahead, Roy/Dougie is going to have one hell of a job rebuilding. Except the Palace powers that be are probably thinking AWB- insert Ward with Kelly as cover Job done, not a penny spent!

Yep! Sick to my back teeth of it all now. I used to look forward to the new season. Sky Sports and all their transfer centre cr&p, the online media circus and player power have now changed the face of football and not for the better I might add. I am not looking forward to the Everton match.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Don't think Wilf is technical enough for Pep. I actually find Man U's indifference surprising. But to my mind only Arsenal are realistic buyers & both Palace and Arsenal are placing stories to get the price where they want it. Arsenal-fed stories are constantly about cheaper alternatives, ours are rival suitors. Not saying I'm right, just my reading of it all.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

I cannot believe Parish will sell this close to the deadline, we may clear 40 million, everything will overinflated price wise because they know we will be desperate, not to mention relegation highly probable and the price for anyone buying the club dramatically reduced, he cant be that stupid, all he has to do is say not for sale
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Gala is short for the Turkish team Gallatassary (excuse my spelling). When I saw 'Gala', I thought this might refer to Scottish team 'Gala Fairydean' !!!! Galatasaray have been the most successful team in Turkey.I recall them playing Arsenal about 5 years ago in the Champions League and their side included Didier Drogba and Wesley Schneider.
