Anybody else completely fed up with the Wilf situation and finding it difficult to focus on the season ahead? Sure the staff feel the same.

Sadly looking like Wilf will move on. Can't see him going to Everton and don't particularly want Tosun. Possibilities on the Chelsea front in the near future for cash and player deal..Bats? James? or maybe even RLC?
If the Arse do want him then I would be happy with 50mil plus Iwobi and u21 Eddie Nketiah who looks like a great prospect. That's 100mil in the bank with AWB money

Just my opinion of course

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong

Zaha is a Palace player and will remain so until the club decides otherwise. That is if we want to remain a PL club.

60 million plus a reject does not make any sense for us.

Agree.

The Telegraph suggest Tosun is the make-weight offer. We lost the battle for him when he was a PL unknown commodity; and his comments at the time suggested he was more than happy not to be coming to us. We now know that even his colossal ego does not elevate him from the mire of mediocre.

Thus, if this offer is real, I trust it will be rejected.

Cannot believe Wilf will consider a move to mediocre Everton.
After all,his motivation in asking to leave us is his desire to play Champions League, most unlikely with the mighty Everton!!
The Chelsea option looks far more likely.

Chelsea are under a transfer embargo anyway.

Of that £60 Mill, £15 Mill would have to go to Man Utd.

With under 2 weeks to go it is coming to the stage when Parish has to say that Zaha is going nowhere, unless of course other factors, which I am not aware of come, into play and I don't wish to speculate on this.

We cannot allow a situation whereby Zaha is sold and we don't have to time to bring in a suitable replacement. This would be an act of folly and perhaps even a dereliction of duty.

I can understand Zaha's desire to play champion league games but cannot see any benefit from Everton , European move more appropriate I believe

Assuming Chelsea meet our valuation,we get to keep Wilf for another season and get Batman for say £30m,seems good business.

I would speculate on the other factors that that you don't want to speculate on and would suggest our transfer policy this window will be or rather is based on whether Zaha leaves or not . I am hopefully assuming that we have players ready to sign if Wilf stays and that we have made discreet inquiries to upgrade those if Wilf goes .

If anything is going to happen though its got to happen soon

AWB - sold
Zaha- more than likely off this summer
Luka - Won't sign a new contract
Sakho - Won't sign a new contract

Interesting times ahead, Roy/Dougie is going to have one hell of a job rebuilding.
