Sure on Obama's watch the national debt more than doubled. It was a big recession that needed a big recovery effort.

Trump's actual impact on the national debt won't be known for quite a while yet so any kind of real comparison is impossible. However, it is forecast to rise from the 78% of GDP it is right now to 93% in 10 years time. That's Trump's watch's impact!

That is the analysis of real economists and not that of a narcissistic liar who believes he knows more about everything than anyone else.

So you blame global economic conditions when it suits but are happy to blame Trump for negative economic forecasts that haven't even materialised.

You are a desperate man.

Again, you either don't understand my point or refuse to acknowledge it.

We were talking about the black community. And the rise in single mothers there is greatest compared to whites (20% to 70%) due to LBJ. It's nowhere near that for whites with welfare and single motherhood with the dependency on government for welfare. That is the point! The link with the Democrats and black votes. You think it's because blacks adopt a "herd mentality" whatever that means.

I lived in Los Angeles for two years. But you said I can't talk about Trump because I live in the UK. Now you say I can't talk about blacks because I am white. But you can, and not me? And tell me, why do you post about Brexit if you live in the US then? Didn't you criticise Hrolf for 'policing' the boards. You sir, are a big hypocrite.

You accuse others of 'whataboutery' yet bring up benefit system in the UK in this post. Hypocrite.

Generally when I disagree with someone I do refuse to believe that their point is correct, yes. Thats called disagreeing.

You're not so good at actually addressing what someone posts, and prefer to just put out some of your own unrelated talking points. Its a poor debate strategy, but ok.

You can google herd mentality, or even better here is a link for you, I am a bit shocked you haven't heard of it given whats going on in the UK right now:

You made points about CNN "holding back" black people by telling them that the reason they haven't achieved success in life is racism.

I contend that you are in no position to make that statement, as you werent born with black skin. I can tell you for an absolute fact, even though I am not black, that racism is alive and well in the States and sometimes people do not get jobs/apartments because of being black. That is simply a fact.

Whether or not CNN have a gameplan to suppress black people and keep them aligned with the democrats, by telling them that race is the reason for everything bad that happens in their life, is not a fact, it is conjecture.

Whataboutery generally means totally ignoring every point put to you, and replying solely on something else. Here is a definition:

I didnt do that, I simply pointed out that you may want to look at people other than black people in the States, for habitual welfare reliance.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

We can add eliminating national debt to Trump's top 5 list:

Making Mexico pay for a border wall
Not obstructing justice
Denying Russia helped him get elected
Most transparent president ever
Eliminating national debt

The desperation isn't coming from me!

I am merely describing what is established fact and a forecast from a Congressional source. I acknowledged, as does the article, that things could change, especially if policy changes.

The underlying point is that the credit that Trump claims for the current economy isn't his to claim, and that the future is forecast to look worse. As the future is where Trump's current actions will materialise into economic realities an association is not too difficult to make.

No desperation. Just the truth.

So with this “truth” in mind if the economy does take a downturn Trump can’t be blamed any more than Obama: it will all be due to circumstances beyond his control. If he did get rid of the national debt there are some who would dismiss the effort as blind luck or point to the man who doubled it as the cause of its elimination.

No doubt the next thing you will say is that as it comes from NBC it must be "fake news". Trump would!

I asked for some stats, not a link to fake news NBC.

I suspect it is when rather than if but whatever happens it won't be the sole responsibility of whoever is in the WH. An administration can help or hinder progress but there is always a time lag between cause and effect. Thus what we are seeing now is the result of many things but any political input was made during the Obama years. Trump cannot claim credit for any of it and only those who believe all he says, or Fox, won't understand that.

So whilst Trump won't be solely responsible for any downturn he can modify it's impact by making it worse or better. Tax cuts and trade wars are not likely to make things better are they?

Wow.

I'm getting double teamed by the Anti Trump twins but sadly for them, neither are very well endowed with objectivity or facts.

No lubricant required.

I was specifically talking about black people. It's up to you to counter with data on other races if you think it's pertinent. But you don't. Then you bring up the UK???

Thanks for the Wiki link about 'herd mentality'. Again, it sounds good, but that is not evidence to back up your claim. I'm genuinely interested.

Not sure why you always bring up where I live? Do you really believe one cannot comment on statistics from another country because one doesn't live there?

I never denied racism exists, did I? I remember witnessing footage of racism last August when a mob of white left-wingers hounded the black Candace Owens out of a restaurant in Philly.

Saying I cannot comment on racism because I haven't got black skin is one of the most idiotic things you've ever said...
