Here's a thought: Won't France and Germany et al want us to fail from now in order to stop their own far right-wingers getting stronger? No good to the powers that be there now if we are seen as an exit success story in five or ten years. Bit of politics.

Have you spoken to the public about Corbyn as I have whilst manning Nut stalls in the past few weeks. Ask them to go beyond the Corbyn is unelectable rhetoric and they can't explain why. Discuss with them what Labour's policies are and a surprisingly large majority of them say, I didn't know that. I agree with it. Yes he does need to get the message across better, but the policies are rarely reported in the media if at all. (Edited due to typos) Edited by nickgusset (26 Jun 2016 2.21pm) He was booed yesterday at Pride. There is a significant difference between membership and labour voters. I am not altogether convinced that a significant amount of Corbyn voters weren't Tories / mischievous "other" parties who pad their 3 quid for a giggle. The Labour Party are in a worse position than the Tories at the moment. I can see 1981 all over again

Not my own words but.... A Prime Minister resigned. The £ plummeted. The FTSE 100 lost significant ground. But then the £ rallied past February levels, and the FTSE closed on a weekly high: 2.4% up on last Friday, its best performance in 4 months. President Obama decided we wouldn't be at the 'back of the queue' after all and that our 'special relationship' was still strong. The French President confirmed the Le Touquet agreement would stay in place. The President of the European Commission stated Brexit negations would be 'orderly' and stressed the UK would continue to be a 'close partner' of the EU. A big bank denied reports it would shift 2,000 staff overseas. The CBI, vehemently anti-Brexit during the referendum campaign, stated British business was resilient and would adapt. Several countries outside the EU stated they wished to begin bi-lateral trade talks with the UK immediately. If this was the predicted apocalypse, well, it was a very British one. It was all over by teatime. Not a bad first day of freedom. Morgan Stanley have 100% started moving jobs from the UK, cousin in the London office already heard murmurs of relocation to Frankfurt. Of course they will deny it. Laughable.

I would say that the good people of Hannover, Wolfburg and Gelskirchen are more bothered about the effects of Germany's number one export market leaving the EU. Don't you think they will pressure ther government over this Or have you still got your head wedged in your colon in white middle class enclaveville?

'100% started' is significantly different from 'murmurs of it'. Which is it? There's no way anyone will decide anything for certain until the picture becomes clearer.

Must be loads of tutting in Cafe Nero and talk of how your pensions will suffer. Plus I would imagine you are worried about he cost of child care going up, seeing as how you pay your childminders diddly squat and make out what you are doing is altruistic.

You are getting too worked up about what you did. Chill. What's done is done.
