The sad thing being he's far from alone (judging by many posts here). I agree. Amazing how many 'armchair' Chairmen we have that know better than our current management.

Don't need to see him play for Palace he has been around long enough and even West Ham fans say we over paid he was worth max 6-7m in current market which is why West Ham was happy to sell him. Not saying he is bad we just overpaid for him. Sorry but my West Ham mate (he and his brother played for their academy as youths) was not happy. He can play the ball but not afraid of kicking someone. We paid full price, which at £10 million is fine

Hilarious that one of the add-ons was whether or not palace win a spot in the champions league. How about we pay £100 upfront for a season tickets with £350 in add-ons dependent on how the team plays? anyone?

Why presume they're not? They have a good transfer, half hour later they want another.

He can play the ball out and good with his head, experienced EPL defender. Might well of helped on Sat with 3 players nowhere near Rondon. If he's fit for next match be surprised if he doesn't start after that poor defensive goal.

If Mr Parish really thinks Benteke is the answer for Palace then he needs to stop the token gestures and put the asking price on the table. The whole Benteke saga really is verging on stupidity now. If you are really serious Mr Parish complete the deal or move on to other options.
Curly eagles dad, 45 years of Palace. Never ever a dull moment, Oh Happy Days |

Oh dear oh my,what the f*** are playing at in their offices. Are they in dreamland?,,,,no wonder this saga continues. Page 284 and counting. CRYSTAL PALACE included a three-pronged Champions League clause in their bid for Christian Benteke which would have seen them pay another £2.5m for the forward if they gate-crashed the top four. We're in desperate need of a second healthy striker and we are putting champions league clauses in bids for a striker we have been cchasing for a month? What?

Parish is taking the piss with that offer. If we're serious then pay 32.5m. If not ffs move on. We still at least 4 players.
