Possibly because the public have observed that around half of his party allegedly believe he let them down in the Remain campaign and the other half believe he let them down by representing the Remain stance. They may not wish to see a person elected to government that doesn't have the faith of his own party.

That's a guess. I know f*** all.

Most of the PLP have shown disdain for Corbyn, however he trounced everyone else in the leadership campaign. It is up to the PLP to get behind their democratically elected leader and therefore the will of Labour party membership or pish off.

As I've said, the Brexit vote is being used for opportunitism by the PLP.

Stupid petition, people need to learn to live by the decision and do their utmost to ensure they get the best possible outcomes for the UK as a result of Brexit.

Again with the evasion.

I have never said there are no Trots. I have said that the Trots have affiliated to Labour, using typical Trot entryist tactics, and were responsible for getting Comrade Corbyn elected.

Answer my earlier point Gusset. Cease your evasion.

It is at times like this that we get to reflect on what utter Bellends people like David Lammy really are.

Desperately trying to enhance their political careers by stirring up resentment among the Remains.

I can't help but see a certain irony in that.

Good

"BBC political correspondent Iain Watson says the petition has attracted a lot of attention but has zero chance of being enacted, because it is asking for retrospective legislation."

I wonder if it will be suspended whilst it is being investigated?

Finance Act 2014 contains retrospective taxation legislation.
