Real communists people actually living out the basic life of a communist I have only ever met one couple in my life I would call genuinely living the basic communist life. The idea that labour party people are anything like communists is absurd.

The Commie gushing was about his party leadership victory of course but all the Communists will be voting for him in the General election. Along with the minorities of course. We "The West" have been responsible directly and indirectly for many millions of deaths over the past 300 years or so...As examples,take the slave trade to the Americas,Belgium in the Congo,Germany in SW Africa,us in Tasmania,US,Spain and Portugal and then the US in relation to the indigenous inhabitants of the Americas,Franco,Suharto. Not to mention the barbaric scum the West have sustained at times in parts of Asia,Africa and C/S America since the war. All largely under regimes who would say they supported capitalism. If you are not a hypocrite you could,on your logic,have to conclude that's what capitalism can lead to... Fact is,cnuts are cnuts and what Stalin and Pinochet had in common that they were complete authoritarian cnuts. Fact one said he was a communist and the other said he was a saviour of the free market against communism was no more inherently a comment on communism than on capitalism. Moral,beware authoritarian dictator cnut types.At present,in Europe,these people most often tend to say they are of the nationalist right rather than the left...
