That’s no excuse. It’s the reason that we need to better.

We should be ashamed. Firstly for electing these candidates and secondly for expecting a basic level of honesty and competence. It's a disgrace that we're allowed to get away with it.

Because this unvaccinated 6% of the population were the only ones who could catch or pass it on obviously.

Did you or anyone else know that at the time? Or are you just using hindsight?

In any case an argument can still be made because vaccinated people tend to suffer less. Those who suffer less are likely to be less infectious.

The real shame is tarring them all with the same brush, whilst many are actually hard working and public spirited.

That others are self serving grifters means we need to be on our toes and weed them out. Which is why I vote for a person, not a party.

The problem is that we can only vote for the available candidates or is it our responsibility to find better ones?

If you can’t vote for the best vote for the least worse and then encourage better ones to stand next time.

There’s always something positive to do.

Good plan. I'll vote for the candidate from Sugarcandy Mountain.

No more a case than that vulnerable cases should self isolate. And yes, I did know. I have the gift of perfect foresight. For example I'm currently predicting a response.
Let's see if I'm right.

I try not to disappoint!

The very vulnerable did have to self isolate. Why should people like me? Don’t I have rights too? And if there are more like me than not why should the others take precedence?

Are they standing in Bourneville or York?

No one is talking about precedence. Just equality. Just because some were hesitant about vaccination doesn't mean they don't have rights either.
