Puel who was sacked after 1 season had a 3 year contract.I've no news as to the scale of his compensation but there would have been a severance package agreed. 'Director of football' Les Reed keeps detailed information about a whole plethora of foreign coaches and Puel was appointed after a protracted and exhaustive selection process but alas it didn't work out for Puel.

Not seen anything in the media regarding Burnley rejecting any approach etc etc. Dyche is under contract to them so there would have to be compensation agreed if indeed Burnley would allow him to leave.All very quiet on this front, thus far !
