I'll repeat what you so obviously choose to ignore.

My point, once again, was that the reason for the demographic reality of 90+ genetic Europeans in the US in 65 was expressly down to its laws prior to then.

Your point about 'whites' and Europeans is moot, as that is what it meant and what its immigration policy did....if there were exceptions around the edges I don't know.

I made an error stating that this was in the constitution when in fact it was immigration law.....big deal.

Your fixation upon this is pure pedantry as it made zero difference to the outcome of any case.

You are doing what you always do when you are caught with your trousers down. You try to divert the attention onto something else and then tediously build a castle on new sand, attacking your critics and generally hiding from the truth. Now, who does that remind you of?

We aren't talking about your earlier point. We are talking solely about making the incorrect attribution of your claim as being in the constitution when it isn't.

That was a big claim. It's factually wrong. Facts matter. Trying to pretend they don't (pedantry) demonstrates you don't care about facts. Your opinion is all that matters. Once again, who does that remind you of?

There is a pattern here. Only a few days ago the claim was made, and repeated, that Fox News was now owned by Disney and that was the reason it had changed it's tune on Trump. That too is wrong, but it took a while before that fact was admitted.

I was trying to get a load of Trump Christmas cards but Brexit is managing to cause a problem with imports. I'm not sure if that's ironic or if the joke's on me.

No. It refers only to the subject here.

You can try to join in the deflection if it makes you feel better and put you in the "good boy" corner of "Stirlingworld", which has an odour not dissimilar to "Trumpworld" in the USA.

It's just funny.

I assume you were planning on sending them as a kind of joke anyway, so now it's even funnier.

Amazon have some available, as well as other Trumpian decorations, if his fan club on here hasn’t snapped them all up.

I am sure he appreciates your attempt at a defence but US immigration has a long history. It didn't begin in 1965. The claim was made about what appeared in the constitution. Which, so far as I can see, was silent on the issue.

If you try to make an argument it's generally a good idea to get your facts right.

I don't think Stirling needs me to defend him, I'm sure he's capable of doing that himself.
I was merely pointing out that was where I thought he was aiming his argument.
As for facts as someone has gone through the whole gamut on US immigration I'd hasten to add I have a little bit more first hand knowledge of it than you.

Unlike you I tend to admit factual mistakes.

Also unlike you I don't go on endless pedantic waffles claiming victory on points in discussions you weren't even part of. It's all a bit pathetic.

I'll state once again because the point I was making matters, not which rule book it was written down in.

The USA immigration law was responsible for the demographic make up of US in 65.

All you want to do is obfuscate and invent victories for yourself..

There you go again. Trying to divert attention by criticising the critic.

There is nothing the least bit pedantic in establishing facts. They matter. Not to you obviously but without facts you cannot have truth.

I'll state once again because the point I was making matters, not which rule book it was written down in.

And I'll state again that is not the subject of my point. Kindly address the issue.

The USA immigration law was responsible for the demographic make up of US in 65.

Irrelevant. It is though pretty shameful that you seek to justify your desired policy by reference to one that was clearly racist in character.

All you want to do is obfuscate and invent victories for yourself..

Nope. All I want is to establish fact from fiction so that the truth can be revealed. If someone else did it I would be delighted not to have to. Securing a personal victory over anyone is of no interest to me.

In pointing out a pattern I am sounding a warning to be wary of posts that make definitive statements which turn out to be factually incorrect. Opinions masquerading as facts are the bane of the internet age.

I thought you were a better man than to come out with infantile responses. Still you made me chuckle just when I needed it
