I find the idea of interviewing a potential manager for the club without meeting face to face quite unthinkable. One of the areas that has to be thrashed out is whether or not Steve Parish and the new manager can work together and you cannot do that by phone or Skype Sadly I guess that means FdB is the bookies favorite, meaning someones put £5 or so on him.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

exactly. Don't underestimate the number of football deals that are done on a Yacht somewhere a lot nicer than W1 or SE25. This is true, more of a dinghy on South Norwood Lakes than a yacht

From media quotes it would appear the interviews were done last week and the week before. It may be as others have said it is a done deal, or agents are hammering out the detail. I would not be surprised if this weeks tragic events meant the club decided to wait a few days

A genuinely nice bloke who absolutely loves the club and has the contacts, business nous and lolly to make us what we have become today. He also has what it takes to propel us forward even further if people give him the chance. HEAR HEAR!!! (careful mate, any more of this straightforward intelligent grown up stuff and you might find yourself red-carded)

Personally I wanted him to consider everyone who might be available and suitable and make a decision but to do it quickly to give the new manager time to get his feet under the table. It is noticeable that Hull, Leeds, Middlesbrough and Sunderland don't seem to have had the same problems as we have in appointing a new manager ME who do you fancy as Manager ?
