I'm just going along to get along - and I have no problem admitting it. It's not at all how I feel inside. There are likely millions like me. And I'm another one AS, I'll happily admit it. That's how the model is designed to work though, until a breaking point is reached I suppose. Protecting your own wellbeing, mental and physical, is a very understandable priority.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Aw, I'm sure we won't forget you though! That's nice to know. It won't stop me posting though. As I have always said no one is ever obliged to read or respond to anything so it makes no difference at all. It might just restrict any conversations to those who are able to communicate effectively without feeling the need to revert to personal insults.

We'll see what comes out, there's definitely an element of the Government, media & police manufacturing a narrative.
Is there nothing so awful that people here won't restrain themselves from spouting conspiracy theories as a consequence? The lack of genuine compassion is really quite staggering to witness and, alongside the behaviour of those attacking the mosque and police last night, very revealing.

The future will judge people. Your grandchildren will question what you did and thought at the time we were losing power. Our coming minority status (20-30 years) within our own ancestral homeland means a gradual but increasing loss of power the closer it gets and thus it'll be increasingly easier for our demonisation. You've see it already in the institutions now, but you will see certain narratives increasing in power...especially with the left in power. There are a lot of people who don't like the white working class but in time that will transfer to the white middle class the less power they have.....they are truly the worse people because they cut the ladder out of pure short term self interest even more than ideology.. There is a certain justice in what is coming, as it'll come for their children as well. They will only be detested in remembrance. Their own form of Vichy power. Don't forget that during the 'Black Lives Matter' protests in London, that many Police knelt. The comments by politicians was all about de-escalation and sympathy. Remember that white guy who flew a 'White Lives Matter' banner over a football game. He was condemned by all and sundry. I remember certain names who did it. That guy lost his job along with his girlfriend I believe. They have no loyalty to you and they couldn't give a damn. Edited by Stirlingsays (31 Jul 2024 1.22pm)

At the very least it was a racially motivated attack, if a white male went into a school club full of black kids and stabbed them to death, it would have been labelled one straight away. It's an obvious assumption but until we know more, it is unsafe to reach conclusions. There must be a good reason why the police are still interviewing him. Which won't be because of all the wild conspiracy theories now being trotted out as they are established facts.

So the advice is to wait for the official report. The same as with Rochdale when the "unproven allegations" were proved to be true and the authorities culpability was highlighted.

The troll reads my lack of faith in appointed officials & concludes I have no compassion for the children murdered. Sensational leap there.

The people of Southport deserve recognition for their kindness and fortitude. It's heartwarming to see this and is just how I expect people everywhere in our country to react. Despite the attitudes on display in these pages we are not all supporters of out-of-control jumped-up football hooligans intent on confrontation and causing mayhem. This could help the healing. What happened last night cannot.

What happened last night cannot. And when there's another mass stabbing in another town the people can heal there too. We can all heal - that'll be nice. At the very least, do you not perhaps think there should be more police, more courts, better education, better mental health services, mandatory sentences for carrying knives? Would that likely be more helpful than healing? Words mean nothing at all. Would they give you solace if this were your kids? Is there any point in even asking you?
