Not trying to be a smart arse but do you think the french teams mentioned will pay the wages as my understanding is the french league is relatively poor compared to the Premier League ?

I think Wilf's wages will be a concern to many suitors when considered alongside his age. I can't see the likes of Frank Lampard warming to him either.

The notion that we would happily drop his asking price by £30-40m is baffling. Unless we've accepted that we grossly overpriced him to begin with, I can't see how that rumour is possible true. I'm in two minds about Zaha. He's gone down significantly in my estimations since last summer. His performances haven't dipped solely because of that but it's surely played a part. For that reason a large part of my thinks it's better to get rid. That being said, if we do somehow end up landing Fraser and Eze and opposition teams can't afford to double / triple up on Zaha anymore, he could go back to being a real force again. We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

We seem to take so long fvcking about with transfers we need him out the door quickly in the hope we can someone else in before pre season training starts.

To be honest with any of the top clubs Wilf is not going to be starting.....he’s not good enough on current form. He’s going to spend a lot of time on the bench.
