Hopefully Huddersfield losing from a wining position will knock the stuffing out of them for next week.

2 weeks from now. International break.

Shame about Newcastle getting last-gasp equaliser - but they're not really in the relegation mix. The big plus for us is Burnley losing at home to ten men. Burnley have Wolves home Bournemouth away Cardiff home - and then a tough four last games: Chelsea and Everton away, Man City and Arsenal at home. Maybe nine points from that lot? Means we would need two more wins to stay ahead of them.

And here are Cardiff's fixtures:
Chelsea H
Man City A
Burnley A
Liverpool H
Fulham A
Palace H
Man Utd A
Brighton A (no date yet)
Suppose we get a draw at Cardiff and win one other match, taking us to 37. Cardiff (currently on twenty-eight) would need 3 wins and a draw from their seven other matches to overtake us.
Bookies currently have us between 33-1 and 80-1 to go down. Cardiff are top favourite for the third relegation slot at around 3-1 on. Burnley are now second favourite at around 3-1 against.
OK, I need to get out more.

I think we must be. ManBet X on his shirt is a clue.

We must rely on our good (league) away form to get the
6 points we need.

Why an experienced manager can't get us to win at home is worrying - there is no spirit of adventure and we easily succumb to moderate opposition.

Defeat to Huddersfield will set alarm bells ringing.

In any case, a younger manager must be in place for next season.

If so, give that man a raise.

Defeat will mean a very uncomfortable walk for Hodgson from dug-out to tunnel at the end of the game.In general the atmosphere will be toxic if we lose on the back of a shambolic performance.

The fact that Huddersfield pushed W.Ham all the way is cause for concern given our abject home form.

Optimistic as usual there willo.

we will stay up. There are just too many teams beneath us fighting to avoid the last place. 4 Teams.

Even if we perform in a mediocre manner, we will stay up.

Mediocre at Selhurst would be an improvement.
