So who exactly are you to call people who have genuine concerns about the use of this site "childish"? As a moderator you are supposed to have an unbiased opinion on all matters. It's one thing waving cards and threatening with it, and closing down innocent threads but another to keep a sharp eye and notice where things really go wrong. Maybe you should ask yourself why I only know one moderator on this site and why I have never before seen mods threaten people in the public domain simply for posting what they genuinely think. To accuse people rising to the bait is totally off, but I will promise it will not be me again, as I will act if "he" does not post at all. Above post obviously for "Midlands Eagle" in reference to his earlier post.

Can't really be arsed about what the other teams do, all I want is to see us compete as well as we have done, cut out the late errors and we will pick up the points necessary. Positivity - too much negativity going on here!

I was thinking the same. They really could do with some points from us but hopefully we won't give them any.

Southampton 6 (beat Bournemouth, three draws from the rest) which leads to Swansea 41 Required for survival in that case: 35, or 34 if we score more / concede fewer than Southampton (their GD and ours both currently -19).

Just highlighting the remaining games just in case not everyone is totally Au Fait with the detail. I never imagined that it would encourage posters to predict the number of points being attained by the teams in question.

'If you had cared to read my posts I have mentioned about the various factors I have taken into consideration so I don't feel the need to re-gurgitate what I have written. Taking into consideration of course the remaining games of the relegation candidates and the respective points attained thus far I have us relegated.'

In terms of the remaining games, I believe one cannot assume that the relegation candidates will automatically lose to the 'Top six' clubs. Chelsea have not been in the best of form lately and in reality are not challenging for a 'Top four' Slot.Same for Arsenal who can be hit and miss - I recall them beating us then getting a draw at WBA, a game they were fully expected to win. Liverpool have the CL as a priority, Man Utd and Tottenham are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and Man C might have won the title by the time they play the relegation threatened clubs. So whilst we can revel in the fact that our relegation threatened rivals are playing the top clubs, perhaps at this time in the season these fixtures might not prove as difficut for them as they might have been in different circumstances. There could be some shocks in store !
