Not really, we'd be settling new players into the squad to find our strongest team. We just don't have the players. Those we have must be increasingly disheartened.

Yeah I think that's right - if we had won some of the winnable games we had rather than f***ing about we would be on maybe six points and looking fine rather than rock bottom. Today we looked better, we will start scoring and if we get the first goal I think we'll stop leaking. Am a bit worried about that back line but Ward looked better and that's good to say considering what he was up against. We are moving the ball around OK, looking like we know what we're doing with and without the ball. s***e at defending set plays and heading, and part of that does come down to not being confident you've got a keeper who is gonna come and get that ball in the air, but we can work with that I think.

If you think ward looked better, you must have been watching a different game to me. Got skinned for the first goal and stood so far off lingard for the fourth...haBing said that, PVA schlup and puncheon were just as bad..

To be honest 4-0 is about what I expected before the game. I don't expect us to get anything out of the Chelsea game either, but after that we have to get into our stride fast or we haven't got a hope of staying up.

Oh, has he been unwell? Puncheon was pretty good as well, no?

*facepalm*

Spurs thumped Huddersfield away 0-4 and we lost to Huddersfield at home on first day of new season 0-3, so that's how bad we are and the only person to blame is Parish!

All we will have left after 5 years in the Prem will be a huge wage bill. No rebuilding of the stadium and the club hasnt moved forward an inch

Well it's not like Hennessy has scored either.

Actually that's only how bad we were on the first day of the season. On another day we won the same fixture 1-0 with fewer first team men available.

You might as well argue that we're better than Watford because they shipped six at home to City whereas we only shipped five away.

It's a syllogism based on the falsehood that a team's performances are 100% consistent from game to game. That is especially not true in our case.

The Premier League this season is a 3 horse race
City , United and Chelsea are beating teams by large margins on a regular basis. City put 6 past Watford who are 5th.
We will not be able to tell how much we have improved until we get the Chelsea game out of the way.
People should remember the mess we are in is totally down to Frank's ineptitude.
OK Parish appointed him , he had to get a new manger as Sam walked , Parish cannot be held responsible for the incompetence of Frank, he could not have known how useless he was going to be.
Had Frank been a sensible man and gone with gradual change we could have 4 or 5 points by now and he could still be in charge, but he didn't , so he has gone and now we must hope Roy continues to rebuild the team and we will compete against the rest of some very poor teams out there.
