Nor is being black a life-choice apart unless you're Ali G... Surely you can see how being called a ****** or shirt lifter, or hearing some abused in this way, is deeply unpleasant: you're black or gay - or have any empathy with your fellow man. Now I will admit to having used homophobic language in the past and I'm not proud of it but I was young, foolish and not that thoughtful about these things. It comes down to the fact that I didn't give a toss about some people's feelings. Going to university in Brighton in the early 90s was an eye opener, and resulted in my pals giving me no end of stick. i laughed along with it but it's easy when you ain't gay. We have fans that are gay - think about how they will feel before you join in the so-called banter eh? Spot on.

Nor is being black a life-choice apart unless you're Ali G... Granted so possibly a bad comparison, but it does raise the question if you were brought up by two gay men from a baby would you be gay in the end ? but thats another thread. Surely you can see how being called a ****** or shirt lifter, or hearing some abused in this way, is deeply unpleasant: you're black or gay - or have any empathy with your fellow man. Yes of course, but it's no worse than being called fat, stupid, lazy, smelly, or any thing else you could say in a derogatory manner about a persons physical or mental attributes. It is still just essentially name calling, that actually as far as the Weed go is only correct to (in relation to the size of the crowd) to a small minority, not that it makes it right, but it is to me no different than calling my Brother a thick Fcuker for losing his phone for the umpteenth time. Now I will admit to having used homophobic language in the past and I'm not proud of it but I was young, foolish and not that thoughtful about these things. It comes down to the fact that I didn't give a toss about some people's feelings. And will they give a toss about ours when they retort with "your just a bunch of Nigel's. I should imagine by your yardstick anyone called Nigel in the crowd will be suicidal after the game ? Going to university in Brighton in the early 90s was an eye opener, and resulted in my pals giving me no end of stick. i laughed along with it but it's easy when you ain't gay. Are you doing it on purpose We have fans that are gay - think about how they will feel before you join in the so-called banter eh? Are you trying to tell me Gay men don't take the piss out of anything or anyone, because I will tell you something, some of the gay guys that I know in the Army will rip the piss out of someone if they have a hair out of place, but that's allowed because there gay. So no I won't worry about it, those without sin etc etc.

Perhaps a caveated first verse? We scored 2, you scored none (other scorelines are available) Ok, it needs some work.
