We seems to gift wrap at least two goal per game these days, so all the teams around will have high expectations of success when they play us!

Wayne conceding from 5 set pieces in 2 games just proves it wasn't Mandanda at fault, and the defence needs to take responsibility. Our defence will make any keeper look dodgey at the moment

Is Hennessy coached to take a step the wrong way at every free kick? Free kicks are simple for the taker against him. Just out it in the corner that he's supposed to be covering. Bring back Jules. What was the point in extending his contract if he's never going to get a look in? May as well just have youth as the 3rd choice.

Yes, he took a step the wrong way, but even if he'd stayed where he was, I don't think he'd have stopped it as it was hit with speed right in the corner. The fault was with the wall which parted like the Red Sea.

I don't even want to analyse yesterday's performance from the defence or keeper yet. I'm too depressed to deal with it.

The whole point of a wall is to block one side and the keeper covers the other. Direct FKs conceded in 2016: Swansea away last year: WH beaten on his side of the goal Makes my bloody boil.

They didn't even say "he should do better" they outright said it was "goalkeeping error".

Yes and the same way keepers and penalty takers research future opposition, I'm damn sure that free kick takers will be looking at Hennessy's position and movement at previous free kicks.
