Someone called Darren (a palace fan) on twitter tweeted 38 minutes ago that Remy is about to join us pending a medical. Sounds official. Although this Tweeter makes a good point: "Just a thought the #LFC Doctor that did and failed Remy's medical is now #CPFC's club doctor!" [Tweet Link]

sorry but sounds like a pile of the smelly steaming stuff, 1. We are in Berlin so who's doing the medical? 2. Remy & Chelsea are both away in pre season somewhere is my understanding. Sounds like a bored school holiday kid on t***er with nothing else to do to me.

Sounds like a bored school holiday kid on t***er with nothing else to do to me. 1.Im sure we have someone to do it and place it can be done. 2.Ive seen a lot of people saying things like "it won't happen he's away with Chelsea on tour" etc.What does that matter? Isn't there a million transfers per season where a player goes from one club to another in a different country?

Neither. I'm sure our doctor is professional enough to re-diagnose Remy with the heart defect that reportedly squandered his Liverpool move. But I believe Palace would take the risk on it unlike Liverpool. Essentially, the doctor does not have the final say on whether he'd become a Palace player or not, it's likely we would accept this re-diagnosis and sign the player. It's not like we don't know about his failed Liverpool medical.
