correct me if i'm wrong but we're not mathematically safe yet.

Okay jammyeagle81, what do you think the odds are of Palace going down? 1/1000?

I agree it's unlikely, but the palace rollercoaster has a habit of being bumpy ...

I'll be happy after saturday (hopefully!).

Properly chuffed for Jerome.

The tools on this forum fail to grasp the role he plays in the side. And our team is all about the overall balance of the side, which he contributes massively to.

Also, unlike England, who have for years tried to create a system from the supposedly best 11 players, we create a system and then pick the best players to make the system work - which makes much more sense.

Keep doing what you do Cameron & TP - tremendous !

I agree Cameron Jerome for England.

Up to 11th. We did Arsenal a huge favour tonight!

Wenger owes us big time !

Look out Stoke we want that 10th place.

Probably now sell us Bendtner !! Fantastic performance tonight. Well done to the fans, team, management etc. COYP !!!

I think Bendtner would really have to justify his worth to our squad. No prima donnas here, absolutely none. I'm not anti Bendtner, but he's got a reputation, and unless he's willing to run around like Jerome and Chamakh, or win those headed clearances like Murray, he can take his £52k and f*** right off.

This performance cannot be overestimated. Everton are a very good team and to hold them at bay was an awesome achievement.

Some of the football we played was superb. I loved the commentator's comments about Puncheon's clever feet, Bolasie gets better and better, the defence was rock solid, Speroni made splendid saves, and Chamakh is just class.

Special shout to Jerome: You've worked your knackers off all season and scored a rather special goal. Thank you.

Absolutely, there was no weak link in that team tonight.

Great performance tonight! They all worked their socks off again. All the goals were well taken and Bolasie nearly had one too. Thought Baines knew what he was doing when he went across Mariappa's face. We went under pressure after that and I thought we gave the ball away a bit too easily but Speroni saved the day again...class act!
Murray looked a little legged to me.
As far as I can see at least one of the bottom three has to win all their remaining games for us to not stay up.

eeeeeeeeeeagles! :-)
