I think there's a good chance that the club are talking to potential managers other than the names that keep coming up on this thread (Lampard, Cooper, Dyche etc). As we learned with NES and Favre, names which took most of us by surprise, the club's network and knowledge stretches well beyond the names we can come up with as a bunch of fans. Trust in the process, believe in the people. I totally agree. Among managers from the continent, along Nuno, Favre and Fonseca, maybe this one is under consideration;

Dyche may not be a stand still - depends on how much money he gets to spend, like Pulis and Sam before I feel we'd be pleasantly surprised by his sophistication as a coach. All in favour of Garcia, of course, but the problem is people like Garcia are not in favour of us, esp with the state of our squad.

Hand on heart, I can honestly assert that I have spoken to a 'Mark Hughes' in a public house, probably back in the 80s.Not the footballer, whose first name is actually Leslie! I'm disappointed that you didn't carry on with your alliterations to the end. Perhaps "beautified by the Bard"?

He also seems to have a decent attitude to life especially the giving out of pencils to journalists after the Charlie Hebdo troubles.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |
