Hi staffie, One for the "Look-Out" list, please. I'm wondering if you could keep an eye out for me for an album that'll come out this September. It's by the: Red Hot Chilli Peppers I know it's a bit far in advance but any links if and when they come available would be much obliged. Thanks! Edited for wrong album name. Todays first download is a superb bootleg by Alice Cooper that is also a first. This show was played in Los Angeles and beamed via hologram in 4D to London's Battersea Power Station. To the audience there it was like having the band in the room with them. The sound quality is the best I've ever heard on an Alice Cooper bootleg - absolutely crystal, pin drop perfect sound - in wicked stereo. I've posted the file notes below so you can read for yourself the details of the show... The band is the original Alice Cooper band and they play a show of oldies... and they are fantastic. If you like Alice Cooper - I'd be interested to hear what you think of this one!..... this is a gem! Here is a download link I found for :- The Jagermeister 4D Concert: Battersea Power Station, London 11.5.11 - Alice Cooper (Bootleg) Quality : Superb - and then some! Tracklisting : 01 Intro Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 65MB (Including Artwork, Filenotes and Pix) Filenotes : Yes, that is correct, NOT 3D, 4! The resulting effect, while great fun, was never going to quite match the hype. It was pretty cool though, sort of, you didn’t need glasses and was a glimpse of the future. The band played a strictly old school set that opened with ‘I’m Eighteen‘ and included ‘Be My Lover, Under My Wheels, Elected, No More Mister Nice Guy and Schools Out’.The new members to Rock N Roll’s Hall of Fame could have almost been in the room (but they weren’t). To the assembled Hard-Core Alice fans in attendance it didn’t really matter, they were just happy to be there and who could blame them. Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe kept the party flowing with a set energetic enough to get incite even the most inebriated in attendance to ‘wave their hands in the air like they just don’t care‘. Although by this point some of the legs were starting to wobble too.. Combine all this with graffiti artists, video projections on the Power Station walls, and endless amounts of free Jägermeister on hand, the night was definitely one to remember. What really came across for me though wasn’t the 4D, or the stunning backdrop, or the free drinks, or the beautiful waitresses… it was how good the original members of Alice Cooper (the band) sounded together". Enjoy! Attachment: Alice Cooper - Holoshow Battersea Power Station 2011.jpg (111.16Kb)

Todays second download is a set by Journey that was recorded in Tokyo, Japan in 1981. This is in superb quality and is a great soundboard recording. Some classic stuff on this one "Don't Stop Believin'" "Wheel In The Sky" and "Any Way You Want It". I've posted a few bootlegs by this band in the past - this is another top sounding show. If you like Journey this is thoroughly recommended... Here is a download link I found for :- "The Great Escape" Live at Koseinenkin Hall, Shinjyuku, Tokyo, Japan 31.7.81 - Journey (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting: Disc 1 Disc 2 Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 135MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy! Todays extra download is a set by Gary Numan that was recorded at Manchester International 2 in October 1991. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding bootleg. I've not posted that many boots by GM - only a couple in the past - this is a good one. The vocals are very high in the mix and sound good. This was recorded on the "Emotion Tour" and features mainly his more recent stuff to date. Only a few songs from his early days are played - good versions of "Cars" and "Are Friends Electric" - although the latter is a different version as it has a funk element to it. If you like Gary Numan - this is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at Manchester International 2, Manchester, England 1.10.91 - Gary Numan (Bootleg) (Emotion Tour) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01.Hanoi Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 72.9MB Enjoy! Hi staffie, Looking for a bit of 'background' music & been told to try Craig Ogden's album Summertime. If you can find it that would be great - no problem if not. Thanks as always and absolutely no rush - the game kicks off in 1.25 hours.
