This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I wouldn't be too unhappy with £65 million plus Reiss Nelson on a permanent. Valued at £15 million and looks to be a good prospect for the future (hopefully near future).
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I don't care if Everton offer £100m if we sell Wilf to Everton it's a joke. He's actually worth more to us than £100m, probably, but if a big club come in for him and pay £80m+ then you couldn't begrudge him a move. However, if he moves to Everton he has basically accepted he'll never play for a CL club and perhaps just wants more money. I really can't see it happening, but you never know.

I was just thinking of this idea. I'd be okay with £60M cash up front, Nelson on loan with an option to buy and a player (anyone but Jenkinson). I'm getting a little fed up of this rumour and it is just going to go on and on until deadline day. Deep joy !

If you had to take £65m or keep Wilf but he said he'd go on strike, what would you do? Did you go to the school of the spineless? I'd tell him to get back to work or have his pay suspended. HE HAS FOUR YEARS ON HIS CONTRACT.

We have some thick fans on here, Wilf goes before the 14 day deadline, and its game over, relegation certainties. Even Parish must know that, who gives a f**k what Wilf wants.

I know that certain among us think that caving into player demands is a matter of course when a loss of money is involved, but really, that only happens when you have a gutless chairman or a player who is in the last two years of his contract. "Told Palace of his desire to leave after returning from the AFCON" I thought he went straight to Dubai for a holiday? Sky seem to have mores sources than Heinz! In fact very few seem to come to fruition (and don't get me started on Jim White)
