Who described him as such? By posters in a variety of places, including “X” and Facebook. Also in newspapers unavailable here. Primarily though by the Democrats, which you can read here:- The divisive politics involved in the way Congress treats this can be read in this report from 2023. It’s long but also informative. Especially on the way the Trump administration responded.

Interesting that Democrat criticism provides a quotable source whereas Republican criticism is dismissed as political smearing or conspiracy theorist.

It wasn’t just the Democrats, although whether the others were picking up their remarks is unknown. Looking at his history of vaccine scepticism and prescription of unauthorised drugs it’s not an unreasonable accusation is it? He is playing politics so it’s hardly surprising they get thrown back at him.

He might be playing medical science but not politics.

We don't know, but we can observe, consider the facts we observe and reach an opinion. Much better than reading ambiguous words in personal diaries not intended for us.

Person he doesn't like equals malign motivation. Person he wants to defend equals 'we don't know what really happened'. Some opinions are child like.

I wonder what the vaccine booster takes up rate is currently? Has to be closed to zero. I know one person out of hundreds that gets the booster. Of course, they got ill after a jab recently but couldn't join the dots. Yes, one of those

Yes, one of those I think for people to admit regret that they took the covid vaccine....and let's not forget some had that decision largely imposed on them economically or morally (for example a sick relative).....is a huge step for most people and due to mainstream information most think they took the right decision.. That said I believe there is a significant percentage of people who, if they could have that time again, would not have taken the covid vaccine. I still to this day believe that the main focus of this should have been on the elderly and vulnerable and not the entire population. However, in its defence I remember that the statistics showed a significant drop in deaths after the vaccine first went out (the vast majority of whom would have been in that elderly group). So, if we rely upon that it shows that it could stop or delay deaths in the short term. However to say I'm skeptical on the safety and long term effects is an understatement. To say I'm skeptical on the cover ups and manipulation of data is also an understatement. I believe these vaccines are responsible for far more deaths and injuries that we have been led to believe and that time will show that. There was huge pressure from the state and huge social coercion put onto people. I had some family pressure as well. I've never witnessed this before in my life. I was phoned a couple of times and lost count of the number of letters sent to me urging I and my children took these vaccines. Many thought they were doing the right thing and I don't fault them. I myself was 60/40 on whether to take it....though I would have never let my children take this unnecessary jab. For many people it wasn't an easy decision. I think what the state did with things like 'nudge units' was appalling behaviour. What they did with schools and children generally was appalling (what some activists did in supporting them was also appalling). I think with time the bell is going to toll for what happened....and this isn't even touching the consequences of lockdowns. If the state had been honest and had taken a policy of putting objective information out there and letting people take decisions without pressure then there would be far less anger and resentment. I'll never forget that the state did here and still can't quite believe it. Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Jun 2024 1.26pm)
