‘But, the Gunners only have £45m to spend in the transfer window this summer, and are therefore trying to secure deals with a number of additional clauses.’ Funny when papers keep saying this. It’s as if they’re closely connected. They have more. They’re just trying to get away with not spending it and clubs aren’t having it. I predict trouble with fans in the next year when the ones who go and not the social media morons realise they’re being exploited. Poor sods -they should try being Palace

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I see one of the players supposedly being offered by Arsenal is Bukayo Saka. Surely if we got him we should re-sign Bakary Sako just for the fact they sound like bad anagrams of each other's names.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Got a feeling he has missed the boat our Wilf . By his agent allowing sell on clause from Man Utd in his contract hence the inflated price . Only a small number of clubs willing to pay that amount. So think he we be here at least next Season. And SP knows that too.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Arsenal don’t have the cash in the bank, a few years out of the CL have cost them dear. The owners won’t dig deep they have made their cash. Let’s face it they can’t even buy a defender from Celtic .. so what hope of finding 60 + mill for Wilf. Unless they win the Euro millions one Friday or a Cl club stumps up, I can see Wilf fulfilling his dream move up t north. Arsenal are now in the second tier premier league and I’m laughing my arse off. Mozil 300k a week and we think Sorloth is a mistake.

So think he we be here at least next Season. And SP knows that too. I think it’s more the removal of the release clause whereby if a club bid £1 over it we have to let him go there. There’s also one other problem. No other clubs are interested. Not one. Just Arsenal who won’t pay the money THEY DO HAVE, and they don’t have champions league anyway. Wilf can look at us and himself on that one. Those early months last season with the fouls and the ref thing probably put people off now he’s established and pricey. You can say he deserves his chance but nobody has at least come close to his value so there’s no deal to be done to let him go unfortunately for him. He also has a terrible team behind him. Yes you do Wilf if you’re reading this. They’re a joke of Klingons you need to get rid of.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I think next season his best bet is Chelsea if they manage to hold onto a top 4 finish but Hudson-Odoi and Pulisic do not impress. Mind you, they would probably offer 40 million + Drinkwater A big problem is that he has never shown it on the top club or international stage which might interest a leading European side

If he had asked for a £40m release clause when he re signed, it would have been laughed at and given immediately. At that time, £30m would probably have worked. Wilf’s agent will be kicking himself.
