Todays second download is a set by The Decemberists that was recorded at the Newport Folk Festival that was held in Newport, Rhode Island in July of this year. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM radio broadcast. I've posted a couple of bootlegs by this band in the past - this is another top sounding bootleg. If you like The Decemberists this is thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is a set by REO Speedwagon that was recorded at the Lansing Civic Center, Lansing, Michigan in May 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Boradcast. This show was a promotion for the bands compilation album "A Decade Of Rock" which was released in 1980 and covered the previous decade from 1970. It also features songs from the album "Hi Fidelity" which was not released until some months later. If you like REO Speedwagon this is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a soundboard dvd rip. This show was requested a week or so back, but I've only just seen it on the net. This is a crackin' set by DB and they play some great stuff - including "Twist And Shout" and "Real Gone Kid". If you like Deacon Blue - this is thoroughly recommended..... Bootlegs by SS&M are very rare - I only have a few - and for it's age this is in top notch sound. This is thoroughly recommended.... and then some.... The notes on the back cover artwork give the tour details - and calls the boot a "Live Greatest Hits" by the band. I've only posted two other boots by this band and if you downloaded those, you'll want this one as well.... thoroughly recommended. I was at that gig, but saw Jah Wobble instead on the second stage. Pearl Jam and PJ Harvey did great sets on that day.

Todays second download is a set by Billy Joel that was recorded in Philadelphia in 19986 while he was on the "Bridge Tour". This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a soundboard dvd rip. Some classics by Billy on this one "An Innocent Man" "Only The Good Die Young" "It's Still Rock n Roll To Me" and "Uptown Girl". Todays extra download is a set by Metallica that was recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden in July this year. This is in superb quality - a really great sounding bootleg. I've not posted that many bootlegs by this band - only 3 in the past - and this is the best sounding of the lot. If you like this Metallica then grab this one....
