This post has been merged from a topic called 'Vote For Your Next Manager' by kenbarr Has anyone mentioned Chris Hughton?
Joe Hart looks angrier than a kid with no Easter eggs, David Silva looks like he won't smile for a week. Vincent Kompany has taken his shirt off and looks like he might just start a fight with himself. The visiting dressing room will be a glum place. |

Texts between Malky and Ian moody phones contained sexist and racist remarks. Edited by Dan89 (15 Jun 2017 8.02pm) The article here. He actually resigned before being pushed.

Should've phoned Silva's agent the day or 2 after Sam resigning. Didn't. Went to Watford when I don't buy this case of we couldn't get him if we really wanted. Parish didn't, fair enough, but what do we have now then? Should've had Pellegrino. Delayed action again. Now he's a possible for Southampton. At this rate Hodgson will probably take a job at Whyteleafe before we scrape the bottom of the barrel for him. We'll then be phoning Warnock again. Getting it right us one thing. Delaying your decision so they're possibly or actually going elsewhere is another thing. All this delaying on everything will screw us one day.

WTF You really think he has been sluggish? Did you want him to appoint the first available name and not consider anyone else/ Don't forget managers have been on holiday, as have agents I suspect. I know many posters on here can't grasp that nor can they appreciate SP is entitled to time off as well. Surely your ridiculous comments about 2/3rd guessing contradicts you claiming this decision is taking too long. FFS leave SP alone and let him get on with it, none of us know what goes on behind the scenes, most posters rely on media speculation, which as can be seen by the Daily Mail's recent article are more often than not b******s IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS. You're not adding any new information to the process all of that has been covered in the interview processes. I would call that sluggish, lethargic, listless, a Person incapable of making a decision for whatever reason. But here is really what I think is happening Josh and David were blown away by both Mauricio Pellegrino and Frank de Boer and would be happy with either one. While Steve would like to go with Sean Dyche and neither one is budging.

Surely, after all this time, we've not been reduced to begging Ranieri to take the job? If true, it would seem we've been torpedoed by Southampton entering the market. Those that were so confident that there was loads of time, because we were the only game in town, are looking just a tad foolish now. We should have had this buttoned up and nailed down a week ago. Yep. I used to defend all this delaying of everything but in the past couple of years I haven't because it'll be a false economy, which is normally what it's over, although I think this is again just because everything else is delayed for so long and ends up okay in the end. What when it doesn't and it's blatantly obvious why? Pardew's sacking too late? Got lucky again there.

Don't get why there is such a clammer for a name to be confirmed? The players are all away and won't be back for a couple of weeks! SP will get it right as he has done time and time again and, whether you like him or not, the simple fact is under his control the club has been transformed. He has proven himself in my book and earned the right to be cut a bit of slack over finding the right Man for the job!

if the two preferred candidates are fdb or pellergino. I really can't see a hold up unless both want to see what's on offer at Southampton.

It's how and why that any palace fan might be able to dislike him that worries me. I've been fortunate enough to have a beer with the bloke and he is the real deal. A genuinely nice bloke who absolutely loves the club and has the contacts, business nous and lolly to make us what we have become today. He also has what it takes to propel us forward even further if people give him the chance.
"We love you Palace, we f@cking hate Man U, We love you Palace, we hate the brighton too, We love you Palace we play in red 'n' blue, so f@ck you, and you ... |
