I agree that if Wilf is to go we should demand some fringe players in exchange I agree about Iwobi who would be pushed down pecking order by Zaha but I would also suggest 2 of Maitland-Niles, Holding, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah as well as Iwobi plus £40 million. Zaha is on a long contract we don't need to sell and all the Arsenal players listed want regular first team action. None of the players listed are Zaha but the youngsters have definite potential with Iwobi and Holding both being 23 and having some EPL experience Edited by Palace in the Blood (21 Jul 2019 1.14pm) No way will they let go 3 players in the deal. Iwobi plus £80 million seems about right in the current climate or Nelson and £70 million but they won't sell him after his spell in Germany.

He will be in here next season. It's the usual summer silly season. It could be an interesting season for us as a number of underperforming and overpaid players run down their contracts. Maybe, they'll step up a gear to put themselves in the shop window to earn a decent contract either with us or more likely elsewhere. Wilf is certainly not one of our players who has failed to impress but he still has to keep on his game to attract attention from potential suitors. I don't think he'll go just yet but if he keeps playing at his best someone is going to cough up the cash for him.

Not as delusional and embarrassing as Everton fans saying he's not good enough for them!! I saw that and it did give me a giggle.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Manure have apparently completed a £80 million deal for Maguire. Although comparisons are odious, my opinion is that Maguire is a fairly decent centre half whereas WZ is an exceptional forward talent. Let's put it this way: there aren't many in the PL who can do what Wilf can do.

We hold the whip hand here - we do not need to or want to sell Zaha - he has 4 years left on a a very lucrative 5 year contract - so Zaha is going nowhere unless the deal is right for the club it's as simple as that..!! I would be sad to see him go but must admit wont miss the perannial "will he won't he thread" - getting a tad tedious now..!! COYP

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Tabloid gossip is that Bayern Munich are in the hunt. I think this is a wild guess because Bayern didn't get Sane and they need a winger. Still it would be a great move for Wilf if it came off and Bayern paid us the money we want. I would love to stick it to Arsenal and their deluded fans showing just how pathetic and embarrassing their bid was.

No way will Arsenal let Nelson go, and no way he'd come here. Maitland-Niles is another one who I doubt would want to leave as he was establishing himself as an important part of the first-team squad. The problem is, the only Arsenal players I can see wanting to come here are those that aren't getting much game time, and they're probably not the players we would want. Of all of them Iwobi would be the most likely to be able to come in and make an immediate impact, but I bet Arsenal would value him at 40m so after Man Utds share of whatever cash we got it would almost be a straight swap of Zaha for Iwobi, and that to me would not be good business (btw I'd be happy to have Iwobi here, but he is not equal to Zaha yet)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Looks like Bayern Munich have come into the frame. I would prefer him to go there, and he will get his wish of Champions League. Let’s see how keen he is to play Champions League now. Bayern don’t have the 80 million, but I am sure they will get pretty close and it gets Wilf out of the Premiership. I despise Arsenal with a passion...
