It would be a way of not only tapping in to a new generation of young potential Palace fans in the area, but also, (hesitate to say) but for a multi-cultural area, we don't have the most diverse crowd at Palace at all. We've had a lot of history with having some fantastic black players through times when racism at other clubs was rife; this could be another step towards opening the doors for a whole new market of fans. Including an American market (with CP Paltimore as well...) Maybe I'm being very naive with that view, but I think it would make us an extremely marketable club. thats very true. Lets hope it does happen.

Unless I've misheard, it was just on SSN that BG has not yet spoken to Mr Diddy, but expects to do so. This doesn't really mean anything, but I'd like to think he means it (if only because I want him to). Realistically, this is just too out of the ordinary to be true. However, strange things do happen and if one of those strange things leads to Palace being secure and marketable, then I'm all for that. Weird as it all is, SSN did have a 'confirmation from a Spokesman for P-Diddys company'. Welcome to the rollercoaster....

The crowd is outstanding, and especially with the penalty after 44 minutes it was clear when we came out after half-time the welcome would be pretty loud and not too friendly. Crystal Palace wanted to strike back, so that was all clear. This is a wonderful place to play football - Jurgen Klopp |

I think that THE CLIFTON should be "banging" out some P D DIDDY tunes next home game, to show him that he would be made very welcome indeed.....I personally rushed out today and bought his back catalogue...and i am 45....My 15 and 10 year olds have not even heard of him......LOL...
