Anyone noticed that the blasts seem to be either situated on or near the yellow underground line?

Yes, because the yellow line is the Circle line, which runs around Central London.

It is interesting to note that the Circle Line was the focus of the attacks. The section where there were explosions were also all 'cut and cover' as opposed to 'tube'. Not sure if anything could be read into that but the lines are all exposed to the street for long stretches.

Same as previous attacks - they want things in the open. As the saying goes "pictures speak a thousand words".

Our people have just been asked by the Police to keep everyone in for now. Apparently they're trying to open the mainline stations, but don't want an instant mass exodus of everyone in the City. Waterloo is, I understand, the only mainline station still open in central London, but the train companies are being put under pressure to help get everything going again rather than have thousands of people stranded up here.

I, for one, shall work the full day. Business as usual - best way to make sure the scumbags' efforts fail!

Talksport, have just said that Waterloo is expected to be closed all day

controlled explosion on a suspect package apparently

As Danny Butterfield wheeled away, arms aloft in celebration of his third goal – an expression of delight and astonishment on his face – a man seated beside me in the stands turned to his young son and told him that he would remember this moment for the rest of his life. I will too.

The controlled explosions could well be left luggage or breifcases or bags. Imagine how many bags etc end up in london transpot lost property, they will be blown up with small charges now in situ. I've seen this all before in Israel during the war in Lebanon. Leave your bag for five minutes and go back and find its been blown up.

One of the explosions was at Russell Square, which is on the Picadilly line. Also there's been no confirmation which lines the explosions were on at King's Cross & Liverpool St, which both have deep lines.

If they were all on the Circle / District / Metropolitan lines, then one reason might be so they could use mobiles to trigger bombs.
