Apparently he has access to about £800 bilion, it would be stupid to turn down investment of a £100 million (guess). Even the Chelsea fans who were against Abramovich must have been swung now he has spent £190 million on players. IMO the money Chelsea are spending is "blood money" too, straight from the Russian mafia.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Who voted 'Yes' for Gaddafi?' by jcreedy On the recent HOL poll about a quarter of the votes said they would welcome Gaddafi as Palace chairman. Can these people please explain their reasons and make themselves known? I'm not criticsing them or anything but I'd just like to know their reasons.

While I'm 95% sure it won't happen, I would be disappointed if it did... at first. I'm sure 10 years down the line, following a club rich beyond our dreams, buying anyone we want, winning week in week out..... who knows?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Who voted 'Yes' for Gaddafi?' by jcreedy The political stuff will surely have made people not like this proposal, which is why I'm asking people why they are discounting this. And this involves Palace so that is why it is in Palace talk.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Who voted 'Yes' for Gaddafi?' by jcreedy I must admit to be curious myself as to who would have voted YES in that poll. How anyone could look beyond the terrorist leanings of Mr Gaddafi and his involvement in various acts of violence and general unplesantness, is beyond me.
