So you think that the number of migrants arriving here are necessary and acceptable?

Funny because many of them seem to be claiming benefits and or running their own tax avoiding businesses.

There is selective immigration and what we have.

seriously HOW do you get to this from what I posted!?

So poor.

Quite easily.

You claim we should have mass immigration or higher taxes.

Not really true is it.

What we need are lower costs.

The cost of the welfare state. The cost of illegal immigrants. The cost of tax evasion. The cost of propping up failing businesses.

The cost of government incompetence.

The cost of too many people.

I'll leave it there - you either deliberately represent things or you have real issues with comprehension.

Why did you introduce immigration when discussing tax increases if you don't think the two are linked?
I was not talking about job vacancies.

Tax and migration are linked because the cost of migration seems to be outweighing any benefit in terms of personal wealth. The burden on the individual is growing.

The national debt is not being lowered by immigration. The cost of infrastructure is not being supported by immigration.

Do you get it yet?

As I said to you the other day; the options we have are to bring in more taxpayers or for the existing population to pay more tax - being completely opposed to both isn't a realistic position.

You missed the obvious third option - for the Government to spend less.....

We have the best part of a million vacancies in the public sector. Public services and public infrastructure are on their arse.

That's not a realistic option without a significant transition.

How many of the million do you think are necessary jobs?

I'd say less than half.

Great outcome!

Public service collapse because of bad financial choices within them alongside people expecting free s***. If I could see the doctor for £50 I would. I though can’t afford bupa doctors so that’s a no no. Many would gladly pay a low fee for it. Where are these million jobs in the public sector. Or what are the jobs. Like TFL loads of diversity this or hurty word that. How many are actually needed to make a practical difference ?
