Well I must admit that I’ve seen a few labour governments and they haven’t exactly been that inspirational.

The EU has a higher rate of inflation than us but dont let that hold you back.

The current level of inflation is but one measurement. If you cherry pick statistics you will always find something to contradict the general trend.

But it's not worse is it?

Are you advocating that a party has to rigidly follow its manifesto pledge or have a new leader or an election? This would mean no hmg would last more that 6 months as every party has and will deviate from theirs dependent on current economic and social climate and situations.

We can’t throw what they voted for out, because then we’d completely disenfranchise the voting public,” she told BBC One’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg show.

She added: “The simple principle of our democracy and our unwritten constitution is that if you’re going to have a completely fresh mandate, a completely fresh set of policy ideas and a new prime minister, it would be right to go to the country.”

More sarcasm from you I see.

Whilst you are correct in theory that's not how it works in practice. Many voters placed their tick in the Conservative box last time round purely to stop Jeremy Corby become Prime Minister and the pollsters confirmed that Tony Blair got into power due to the women's vote as he was allegedly young and good looking

Pesky facts. Opinions are fine and welcome all round. The system we currently have is in place until it is changed. Wishing it different doesn't alter the facts.

Gordon Brown was appointed PM without a leadership contest. He was simply chosen by Blair.

How do you know why many voters acted as they did?

Perhaps the incredible Labour manifesto was a major factor in Labour's overwhelming defeat.

The Conservatives may well lose all those gains in the next GE.

I think Truss has shown considerable political naivety. The 45p tax and timing of not following EU rules on remuneration was IMO a mistake.

Changing Prime Minister, or Government, has as much effect as changing the colour of your toilet roll.
For all the fancy packaging and quilted freshness, you'll still have to deal with the same 5hlt every day.

I disengage, I turn the page.

When it's not just the colour but that the quality has been poor for years, and now so full of holes the 5hit gets spread everywhere, we need a change of system and not more of the same in different packaging.

I recommend a high pressure hose, right down the centre, to flush everything clean and prepare for a new start.

Newsflash, the UK is a Parliamentary system not a presidential one. You can google this for more information. In simple terms, the general election chooses a party not the prime minister.

The current PM was elected by her constituents as an MP then members of the party as leader.

Hope this clears things up.

She's the CEO of the executive but, as you say, her status is clear in constitutional term. However, with a largely silent and ceremonial head of state, the winning parties are able to brand and appoint the PM as quasi-presidential and they perform that role accordingly.

Pithy, but history does little to support that view.

The worst government is always the incumbent one.

More than 1000 per day crossing the channel now. Twitter is full of reports where Govt looking to rent hotels on yearly contracts. Many are refusing as they want to protect the local area for visitors.

People have become fatigued with this absurd situation.

Sooner the no automatic right to legal aid is enacted the lawyers will start to lose some interest

I see that Liz Truss couldn't make it to PMQs today so they used a lifelike robot in her place. Unfortunately the robotic brain jammed and kept giving the same answer to every question
