I absolutely agree. Part of the enjoyment is receiving tickets well in advance looking forward to the game. However, the stress of trying to obtain a ticket is ridiculous.

Exactly! I renewed last season and I did so again at the earliest chance for this season too so you’d expect to be all sorted and looking forward to the third home game of the season.

It’s a complete joke and the problem I have is that if it doesn’t arrive in the post by the time I leave for work then I’ve got no way of accessing my email or contacting the club until I arrive at the ground at 7pm at the earliest.

I emailed the club telling them that my phone was giving me the same message (something like This item cannot be saved on this device) and asked the club will they let me know how to make this work. Still waiting for a reply. Then one afternoon the phone allowed it to load and last night a little trepidaciously I used the phone to get in and it worked.
If SP is a fan why can't they do a little more to get this to work. Properly.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

I went to the Box Office before the game and showed the young lady behind the desk a printed copy of the email. She said that it must’ve got lost in the post ( which seemed to me as the line they were going with to anyone that had similar problem to me)

Was given printed tickets for last night and Leicester game and told I should have a card resent and I’d receive it before the following game.

I do feel sorry for the bloke behind me who had his phone ticket zapped whilst queuing to get in the turnstile. He was told it wasn’t scanning and he’d have to go to the Box Office and get a paper ticket printed. This was at 7.25pm!

It doesn't get any better. As I mentioned earlier, I went to the ground on Friday and was given a paper ticket for Brighton. Yesterday afternoon the promised plastic card arrived. Instinct told me to take both tickets to the match, and a good thing I did, because when I presented the new season ticket it didn't work. I went to the Box Office after the game, they tested the card and assured me that it would be alright for Leicester. I have my doubts.

Anyway, EE, I hope you got in last night. Judging by the number of empty seats around me, many didn't.

Let's be honest. The whole ticket set up is a complete and utter fiasco. They have had the best part of at least two months to get it right.. and they haven't!

They are p*ssing loyal supporters right off.

Nothing from Parish and Co. Maybe the plan is to get us in early to pay crazy prices for rubbish food and drink.

What the hell has this crap system cost? How many will give up coming?

I am enjoying being back at Selhurst and having a beer with my mates just like we have done for the past 40 years. Through Thick and thin we stick with our club. Not chairman, players or managers, OUR CLUB!

I did thank you. I'm lucky that I've got a nice boss at work who let me change my shift times so I could get there early and go to the Box Office to get it sorted.

There didn't seem to be any empty seats arond me in the Upper Holmesdale but I did notice a large area vacated at the back of the Arthur Wait in the corner.
So sad if people are missing games because of all this.

The system also seems somewhat inconsistent. I was able to download my season ticket to Google Pay with no problem and it was successfully scanned for admission to the Spurs game.

Last night the scanner did not respond but fortunately the turnstile operator let me through. So, whatever attendance is announced for the game, add one!

I was not give the option to get a Leicester ticket they told me my plastic one would be with me before the game .
Somehow I don't believe them so I will go to the box office again to get a paper ticket .
My partner got her plastic ticket two weeks ago , strange as we live in the same house . Why did they not send both tickets at the same time ?

The turnstile queues last night were ridiculous with people, through no fault of their own, taking ages to get through because of scanning issues.

Park Road and Holmesdale Rd were rammed. This was the back of the Holmesdale stand 15 minutes before Kick Off.

Have downloaded s/t to Apple wallet. For Brighton game, a qr code appeared for the specific game. Just looked but nothing for Sunday, will something appear or do I just scan the s/t?

I'm on Google Pay so it might be different. When I select the ST from my wallet, it appears with a link below that says 'show code'. I clicked on the link for both the Spurs and Brighton games and a QR code came up - not sure if it's the same one each time or it changes for each game, but a QR code is still there and I assume it will get me into the Leicester game.
